Heard Saleh hasn't committed to starting Wilson this week.

It's gonna get ugly in New Jersey if he can't move the ball early against the Bears. I'd probably give him the first half to put up points, but if he sucks again I'd replace him at half time. Flacco or Mike White, it doesn't matter.

Very similar to Mayfield. There was early hype/buzz but the NYJ's likely move on from Wilson this offseason, imo.

I assume he'll be back, but I expect there to be a legit QB competition. Bring in a respectable veteran to compete for the starting position and draft someone in the later rounds or keep Mike White around if he's shown anything in practice.

That defense is pretty good and they have some weapons. They are wasting prime years of talent, to quote Myles Garrett, if Wilson keeps pissing down his leg.

If he fizzles, like Mark Sanchez and the "butt fumble," he'll be best remembered for Mrs Stiffler.

I have seen very, very little from Wilson to think he will ever be more than ok. I've seen more "how the fuck did this guy get drafted" plays. I think he stinks.

There have been flashes that gave me hope, but that's all but run out at this point.

The guys on the Sirius XM NFL channel, one of them a Jets fan, often point this out. They say he shows "flashes" but never puts together a complete game where you go "yeah, that's a guy we can build around going forward."

Unless it's a guy like Andrew Luck, even some of these 1st rounders are coin flip/crap shoots. Teams reach on them (I think Wilson was a reach for where he was picked) and hope they get lightning in a bottle.

"Flashes" is more than I've seen from Kenny Pickett.  Granted, he might very well have lasted into R3 if he had played college ball somewhere else.

From what I've seen from Pickett, like Lamar Jackson, I'm more impressed with his running skills than his throwing ability.

Darnold starting for the Panthers this week. He'll play well down the stretch and the Jets will bring him back to compete with Wilson next season and I'll find the nearest bridge and jump off.

I'm watching the Bills Lions game and I wish the Jets had Jared freakin' Goff.

Dan Campbell isn’t the first NFL coach I’d challenge to a fight

No he’s not.  You always pick Stefanski for this.  At worst, he will charge you with his laminated play sheet held up in front of his mouth.  That’s all he’s got.

95 year old Bud Grant might be the most impressive thing I’ve seen today. I think I thought he died 10-15 years ago

Bengals @ Titans…..I say the winner is the best contender to knock off KC/Buffalo come playoff time.

I know Bengals missing some key pieces but I think they match up well with Tennessee

Well, a lot can change with nearly two months left before the playoffs start.  MIA continues to surprise, and Tua playing at a shockingly high level (apparently, coaching DOES make a difference).

But I wouldn't rule out BAL, or LAC getting hot.

Right now you're probably not wrong, though BUF has come back down to earth some.  And if the NFCE beat up on each other, the winner of that division (and MIA is right there with a head-to-head over BUF already) might not manage better than #3 seed.

I agree with everything you said. I do like Tennessee’s style in the playoffs to bother Buffalo and Cincy with Chase could be tough….but they have to be able to run.

The Chargers might be a smidge more polished Bengals team but Bengals WR corp better.

I’m stubbornly not buying the Ravens even though they may be hosting the conference round. Still judging Miami, I like them but I’m not all in.
