posted by Ironman92Yeah…after Joe threw an interception….now what often happens to quarterbacks after they throw a pick? Players go after thrm trying to get a shot. Watt and he were tangled at the time of the pick and he held him there….not letting him go after tackle or get himself hurt. Joe didn’t like it so he fought back, good for him. I’ve never seen anything about how that was dirty. But everything Pittsburgh does is dirty in the eyes of some sore Bengals fans.
Bengals “fans” aren’t used to following the NFL. They are used to being consumed with the cross-town shootout and the hot stove league this time of year. Likely there are many brand new NFL fans in the State of Cincinnati right now with questions about the difference between the AFC and NFC, why their founder left the Queen City to found the Browns and why the New Orleans Saints stole their Who Dey cheer.

I’m happy for the Bengals and most of their fans.
Every sports show is riding that whistle play….Bengals should use that for even more motivation.

Luckily no one gives a shit what that fucking moron thinks.
The Rams calling up Eric Weddle at 37 years old after not playing for over 2 years….that tells me the importance of intelligence or just knowing what the hell you are doing is pivotal in the defensive backfield. I know he won’t start and won’t be in there most plays….but the sheer fact that their roster for practice squad doesn’t have someone even nearly as in tune with the game as a guy who is likely 1/2 second slower and less athletic than the players they have available.
This seems unprecedented…..this isn’t a kicker.

Sounds like Andrew Sendejo when he played for the Browns, minus the time off.
It’s crazy with how much they’ve given to load that defense to win now, and still have to sign Weddle off the street for the playoffs.

I get that injuries happen and maybe a back up is hurt too…..but I’d like to think there are 5 other guys in the organization, be it deep on the bench or practice squad, that are more able to do the job needed than a guy that hasn’t played football in over 2 years…..seems crazy. They obviously checked to see if he kept himself in shape but man there is no way he’s physically ready. This was a he can do the job mentally decision.
I don't understand why that double pass was illegal by the Cards.
Can’t be a forward pass. The second one was about a half yard forward.
Yes, it looked a smidge forward.. At first I thought they might have been saying the first one had to be a lateral and it wasn't.
Woof.
Lol
Pressure on the QB is always key
Cards/Rams looks like Pats/Bills
Good for Stafford.

He’s really not doing a whole lot
He’s still getting his first playoff win.
Guess I never knew how much these teams don’t like each other

Just having a little fun with you guys. I'm actually pulling for the Bengals. I'll go with the Ohio ties and generally liking Joe Burrow as my reasons. Who Dey!!!!
Bengals/Titans…..easy to see this both ways. Bengals look like their offense is good enough to be in every game….with a break or two can beat anyone. On the road is different BUT is Tennessee weathered enough to not make too many mistakes and make it count….I think they are. My money is on the Titans but it’s not much of my money. My prediction is that one team jumps out big (guessing the Titans) say 20-3 and then other team rallies late but can’t get over the hump and an iffy/bad call seals the deal (interference/holding)
Titans 31-27
Bills/Chiefs…..the two best teams from WC round. KC has flipped on the switch and Buffalo looked unbeatable but at home in the playoffs vs on the road at KC is a huge difference for the offensive line. Not sure how great KC’s pressure will be but I think enough to win this heavyweight bout.
Chiefs 30-24
Packers/49ers
This is the game I’m most confident in. If Garrapolo doesn’t turn it over they could upset the Packers but I don’t think he can. I like this 49ers team but will be tough at Lambeau and Rodgers/Brady seems NFL obvious.
Packers 31-17
Buccaneers/Rams
Rams looked good….but like the Bills won’t be at home. Brady and the Buccaneers are as deep as last year and they’ll need Wirfs healthy. If Rams don’t get out big I think Brady does enough Brady things to win it….and until further notice Stafford is like Dak to me. Stafford can’t turn the ball over and I think he will a time or two. Rams running game could make things tough.
Buccaneers 35-34

I feel this way, too.
I also have Bearcat ties.
