Bryson hitting 367 yard drives and dropping wedges to 4 feet.  Gonna be hard to beat.

If he stops wearing that stupid hat...he might make something of himself

Bryson is breaking the sport, at the moment. Wonder if anyone follows suit? Also will be interesting to see if his accuracy holds. 375 yard drives into rough works just fine in the run of the mill tournament. But the invitationals and majors (Masters aside) you better not be hitting out of the rough consist

Anything about the Jamie Farr? That was going to be the first LPGA event with fans, also in Ohio.

Haven't heard anything about the Jamie Farr, the Columbus TV stations are just reporting about The Memorial.

i dont understand this one bit.  Why not limit tickets to so many for each day?  Sell 5,000 or so.  Let people carry food and drink in.  At this point we all know whats up.  If you dont want to risk being around others, dont buy a ticket.

They said the original plan was for 8,000 with no grandstand or bleacher seats but they decided to go with no crowd.

Based on the rising states, this is probably the smart thing, if Ohio wants to stay open.

If masks work why can’t people just wear masks in attendance?

Because if 10,000 people can attend, about 4,700 will think masks violate their rights. The fallout from forcing that probably isnt worth it to the PGA yet.

If they’re told masks are required to attend before purchasing a ticket they really don’t have a complaint.

I agree with you. Just trying to see it from the PGA perspective. Cases are rising, the public optics of being the first/only sport to have fans in attendance isn’t great. And if a spike occurred in the area linking back to it, even worse.

And they have the perfect chance to change public perceptions on this crap.  THey can lead the way in regards to pro sports.  Its a win win for everyone....especially the PGA.

Its a damn outside activity, 150+ acre complex.  Plenty of time to get info out on masks.

The or boxer Canelo started golfing 10 months ago and shot an 84. That’s damn impressive. Steph and Dell bet him he couldn’t break 90 and now they must jump in the cold lake

Fish wins and shot a 63 on Saturday

Morikawa takes down Justin Thomas in a playoff on Jack’s course.

First playoff hole JT ran in a 50 footer and Morikawa made a 24 footer to extend it. Crazy

The was the best round of golf since maybe the Masters. WGC Mexico is up there as well. Just great stuff.

Dechambeau my god. Stubborn much? Then try to bully officials because made a horrible decision to hit a wood from severe trouble and  hit two shots out of bounds....JUST missed a 3rd. Took a 10 with 3 holes left and was at the time 2 shots above cut line.

Sometimes in golf you have to take your medicine.

It’s funny because I never got a great look but he was standing beside a woman in the background during that clusterfuck and he strongly resembles the husband and the woman strongly resembled his wife of a couple we know here in town and I know she used to go to Muirfield many years.....I couldn’t tell if it was or wasn’t them. You don’t have a brother living in the Jackson/Gallipolis area do you?

I’d love to see a US Open here. But it will never happen.

I’m going next year. I haven’t been in about 6 years and only a few times in last 15 years. It’s so fun there.
