Can someone please start a petition to make college basketball play quarters and not halves? And adopt more of the NBA rulebook.
Poor first half by the Buckeyes at home vs. UC. 0/5 on FTs, 1/9 on treys and two missed dunks. In the home and home series, it looks like it could be two losses for the home team, each knocking them out of the top 25 in the first game!
Buckeyes turn it on in the second half and pull out the victory. Good defense by both teams. When you play Cincinnati you know it is going to be a grind it out game.

If they don’t want quarters, at the very least reset fouls at 10 minute mark. 5 team fouls starts the bonus.
Cole Anthony with one hell of an opening statement. 34 and 10 in his debut last night.

While it likely would never happen, I'd love it if they instituted that one rule from that summer The Basketball Tournament, where when the clock gets down to a few minutes left, it's shut off and the two teams play until one of them has 8-10 more than what the team in the lead had at that time. No more fouling to extend games with never-ending barrages of free throws.
Jesus, OSU putting a hurt on Nova.
Nova looks so weird without half a team of seniors. They’ll be fine, but this has been a beat down.
Dang OSU
Holtmann is a wizard and he finally has some roster depth.
It’s a little early for #2 seed Duke to be losing to a 15 seed. Also how do you have 23 more free throw attempts than a team and lose?
Dayton Flyers looking like a solid squad.
One hell of a final out in Maui.
UD could be making case as a top 10-15 team
Big Ten may be pretty top heavy this year. But the top teams may actually be better than I anticipated. Maryland, Michigan (not sure I’m buying in yet) and Ohio State look legit. MSU will turn it around.
Then a drop-off, but Indiana and Iowa and dew others may be better than I thought.

And then Purdue goes out and smacks Virginia.
Good games tonight. Texas Tech beats Louisville and Penn State beats Maryland. Indiana and U Conn good game so far.

I would classify UConn and Indiana as close, but not good haha. Indiana just has no shooting again (no surprise, as they lost out on both the sharpshooters they went after). But man they can get to the line, and for the most part, don’t foul themselves.
Supposedly, Archie has shooters coming in next year. Which will be a welcome sight.
Illinois over Michigan tonight. Big Ten looks to be a very competitive conference and you better show up to play every night.
Crazy brawl at the end of Kansas - KSU including De Sousa about to hit someone with a chair.
I about lost it when the chair got into play. All I needed was Jim Ross to yell "BAH GAWD, THAT MAN HAS A FAMILY!!!!!" and it would have been perfect.

What a bunch of "slugs."
What is with KU and KSU players trying to steal the ball when the game is over like that? Barry Brown did it, some KU player did it as well I recall. Then last night...
