Indeed, still cheaper than a car though :)

Anything can go wrong with diesel engines at anytime.

you can replace 'diesel engine' with any other noun and it'll still be a valid statemennt.

That's a good question. First thing that came to my mind was my car, because it's still really new (15K miles) and I like it a lot, but that doesn't fit the question because it's not inside the house (DUH!). I'm not a really nostalgic person, so I don't have any super-beloved personal object that has deep emotional meaning to me. And all the stuff I use all the time for entertainment (TV, computer, music, books, video games, movies) can all be easily replaced, at least to the point where I wouldn't feel like risking my life to grab a big armful of them before leaving. So it'd probably wind up being me grabbing my phone, car keys and wallet and saying that's that. And since it's next to them, maybe a small portable CD case with all my Iron Maiden and Dream Theater discs, since I took the time and money to collect their stuff for a reason.

My grandpa left me two bars of gold that were found on a ship wreck off the coast of Florida. I wish I had more information on the shipwreck but grandpa did not write the information down and no one in the family knows exactly what wreck it came from. The bars are both about 2 ounces each. Pretty small but still have coral type stuff on them from when they were found. One has a small proof mark that I have had no luck finding any information on. I have even sent it to a guy that does research on gold and proof marks. He sent the pics to several others and all they can do is give me guesses to where it came from. Mostly spanish ships but no real guess on to what ship they could have been on. They also said there used to be a ton of people offering trips like the one my grandpa went on. He went on a dive back in the 70s that they were able to keep anything they found. He found the two bars and four gold chains which were given to my sisters. Both my sisters still have their chains as well. I think they got the better deal cause the chains were all over twelve inches. Each chain weighed more than two ounces. I call bs on favorites. lol.

Volagi Liscio

The owner of the company got hit by a car in Marin and was in a coma for a few months. After coming out of the coma he shut down the company. Company was in production for a few years, not that many of these floating around. Whenever I do a race or organized ride, I always get asked about it.

I have a machete that a young man made for me when I was a missionary in Haiti. I remember listening to a 50 Cent CD with him and how his dream was to immigrate to America one day. I sometimes wonder if he ever made it out during the Earthquake.
