tbf, I didn't even know today's answer was even a word. After I randomly guessed it, the stat thing said I had eliminated all but the final answer after my third attempt. I had to plug and chug my final three attempts until I got it.

LOL, so it's REALLY hard on my phone to see used letters and I had turned on high contrast (which doesn't help hardly at all). On my computer, the new color I assumed was 'correct', but it was actually the right letter / wrong place thing.
So I was, in fact, trying to solve an impossible word because of their stupid color scheme. Glad I cheated and didn't waste any more time on it. Probably would have had a 4 or 5.
Today…things backfired pretty good
