How does one get this in 3?

You do this and make 100 fucking guesses for 3.  By rights, I probably should have "picked up" for a 7, although I feel like that was one of my early guesses.

I think it’s crazy 4 of the 11 got a 3 today on “leery”

Not giving up my first word since I use it every day but here's how I got to leery. I was having trouble finding a word that didn't have a second E, and with S eliminated I figured it ended in Y. I did not expect to get it with leery but knew it was right after the L flipped.
