We were scrambling tonight and ended up with breakfast for dinner.

Little smokies, bacon, eggs, cheese, tater tots with ketchup and on toasted English muffin if requested.

My wife does a great chicken parm also. One of my favorite meals.

Tonight we have a beef roast in the crock and making noodles to add in later on.

Wife watched one of the Michael Symon show last week and made his chicken and dumplings. So good.

I had a grilled cheeser. Two Kraft singles and one slice of provolone. 👩🏼‍🍳

Salmon, baked potatoes, maybe some green beans if they’re still good.

It’s too hot, but that does sound good

Home made slow roast pot roast, ala Bob Evans, with home made bread.  😎

And it’s hot out so we struggled with eating inside or out.  There are 7 of us here right now and 4 opted to eat outside, while 3 chose the AC.

I signed up for Hello Fresh a few days ago and get my first shipment tomorrow.

I prepared all three of my Hello Fresh meals over the past few days. On the fence about whether or not I'll keep it.

The meals themselves were fine, but everything felt incredibly wasteful. Lots of plastic. They spin this as a good thing because basically everything is recyclable... but I don't have recycling where I live, so it all went into the trash.

Also, one of my meals included chicken which was, at best, barely cool when I received it.

Birthday Dinner

Vegetable loaf, fried potatoes and fresh green beans

Vegetable loaf is a really good meat loaf...no idea why it’s way better but it is.

Yes, I agree.  I have a problem with this.

My biggest issue with Hello Fresh was that the meals were relatively complicated. It would take like 30+ minutes to prep and cook the meal it seemed like. We've got recycling here so that's not a big concern. I want quick and easy.

The biggest recycling problem I have with these services is styrofoam.  There is no place around where I live that takes it. It’s such a waste.

This is my problem too. It takes too long and dirties more dishes then what I would normally do. I usually only get them when there is a free promotion for someone so I can’t complain, but I don’t think I’d ever pay full price.
