Halloween II. Solid sequel. Haven’t seen in about 10 years. Man, horror has gone downhill.

If you are a horror movie fan, like myself, don't waste your time on the last Halloween installment, "Halloween Ends." Terribly disappointing. If you have to see it, fast forward to the last 15 minutes as you'll fall asleep through the rest of it.

What are some of your favorite horror movies?

Paterno on HBO.  I'd call it a solid 8/10.  Al Pacino nails Paterno as a character.  The film doesn't answer the ultimate question of what Paterno was thinking.  But it shows the cost of the collective enabling of Sandusky.  Very well made film.  Again, Al Pacino is fantastic.

Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, baby!!!

I mean, it's a very generic slasher that just happens to have dudes dressed up to look somewhat like Pooh and Piglet, but I just love the concept of waiting for stuff to go public domain so you can turn beloved childhood characters into serial killers. Bonus points for my friend and I having the foresight to bring a flask into the theater for added enjoyment of the proceedings.

7/10 for being dumb fun entertainment that was everything I was expecting. Both good and bad -- by the end of it, I was hoping for the character of Christopher Robin to die horribly since the dude playing him kind of sucked at the whole acting thing.

  • Avatar 2 - 7.3/10
  • Plane - 9.7/10
  • The Whale - 5/10
  • Banshees - 8.2/10
  • Elvis - 2/10
  • Fablemans -7/10
  • All Quiet on the Western Front - 8.1/10
  • Everything Everywhere AAO - 6.8/10

Cant find Women Talking, Tar, or Triangle of Sadness in any theaters around me, which are the last 3 I need to see all Oscar nominations. So will likely have to pay up for them on VOD or something.

No. But I loved it. Classic 90s throwback, but with some actual depth. Ridiculous action/plot, but not completely over the top. Butler and Colter were both awesome in their roles.

Ship is already being discussed as a sequel.

I thought it was horrible. Cool, Elvis stole all his music from African Americans — knew that. Completely brushed over Pricilla stalking and pervert stuff. Tom Hanks was……something? Just an all time bad performance and accent/whatever. It took my 4 nights to get through it.

I should preface, I do not like Baz style of movie making in general.

Nocturnal Animals 2/10

Great cast, but a failed film.  Trying to be artsy and cool and it completely fell flat.

I thought a few parts were not good. Creed 2 was way better and Creed 1 was better.

Creed 1 was awesome. Creed 2 was good with a lazy plot. Creed 3 was poorly made (MBJ directorial debut REALLY showed), with an awesome plot. Majors is a tremendous actor, and I can only imagine how good this franchise could've been with him as the lead from the start. MBJ is just a bad actor. And whatever TF that last fight was, was an abomination of movie making -- without spoiling.

The part with the mom was rushed…great potential.

I loved the little girl…..would guess she’ll become a focus if there are more

Yeah, but they started 2 storylines with her, then just didnt do anything with it! Ill wait to post my thoughts a bit in case people are planning to watch.

I go to the movies about once every year….kid is home for spring break and it was predictable and I missed the Rocky presence and production, but we still enjoyed it.

Everything Everywhere All at Once.

Tons of hype so I had high hopes. I fucking hated it. I was annoyed the entire time.

Amazing special effects though.

I didnt hate it, but it was fucking weird. I watched it about a year ago...and thought it had the type of multiverse that Dr. Strange should have had. But I never thought BP quality. I had it like 6th on my list.

Guardians of the Galaxy 3.....3.5/10

Terrible almost start to finish.  Almost nothing that made the first two films so entertaining.
