Watched History of the Eagles. If you are a fan, its well worth it. Older (2013), but Part 1 in particular is great.

I've watched a couple of episodes.  It's okay.  The English translations / overdubs are horrible though.  Almost ruins the show.

I had a hard time at first with the dialogue being dubbed. Some of the acting was literally atrocious

But I agree, the show was really good  goes to show a good concept can overcome terrible acting.

Escape Room Tournament of champions.  4/10.   I kind of liked the 2nd one, but this one just wasn't all that creative or well-done.

Watched the original Judge Dredd last night. It was entertaining, but I think the remake was better.

The Stallone one? I enjoyed it, fit perfectly into the big, dumb action movie craze of the 90s.

Many Saints was weird. Too many plot lines. I loved being back in the world of the Sopranos, but I think they needed to completely get rid of at least 1 of the 3 plots going on...or make it a mini-series. I also wasn't quite sure what the purpose of the movie was when it ended (minor spoiler)...

....are they planning on more movies...prequel sequels? Otherwise, why end it there and not take us all the way to the start of the show?

this is my question also. if this is literally it, then i don't like the movie that much and it's like a 2/10 (doesn't really elaborate on any meaningful characters from the show, the way the movie flowed (and who the narrator was) only makes sense if there is like a few movies showing how tony soprano got to where he was when  S1E1 of the show kicked off.) if this is a part one of something else then i like it as a setup story and it's like a 7/10.

Halloween Kills 7/10...already knew there was a final installment after this so expected Michael Myers to live. When will these dumbasses learn they're going to have to decapitate him or shove a lit stick of dynamite up his ass to end this?

1984. It was a good interpretation of the book. 8/10

Unbelievable how that still happens.  With all the money into special effects, why do you even need to use real guns with blanks (which, obviously, someone screwed up and it was a live round)?

How do you shoot more than one person? And not an actor but peripheral people? I almost feel bad for him until remembering he hopes for people’s deaths on Twitter.

I assume shrapnel, or most likely through-and-through striking the second person.  That does happen - Chicago officer the other day accidentally discharged his weapon and hit two other cops.

Baldwin was apparently very shaken up about it.  But being a narcisstic pyschopath himself, I'm sure he will quickly get over it.

Not necessarily, the prop people could have not cleaned the gun properly and it could have been shards of the old blank.

No spoilers…but I was underwhelmed.

I didn’t realize it was going to be at least a 2 part movie…it was 3 hours just to get to the part that was like halfway through the 1984 movie.

If you like long drawn out “epic” movies that tell a story very slowly, like Lord of the Rings, you will like it.

If you expect an action SciFi you will be bored to tears.

In other news, I liked it, wife fell asleep at the theatre.
