Well, it looks like another fantastic job by the front office to craft a team that might get to a wild card and do the annual tank.
Blah.
What are your comments on the players, coaches or management so far?

BTW, I was drinking when I made this thread.
Plesac shouldn’t have started yesterday. He should start the next game. He shouldn’t ever start for us again. Give him some time in the pen to catch lighting in a bottle with the slider, and cut bait if it fails.
I think a rotation of:
Is more than capable of winning this division. They should trade these infielders for a proven bat (I’ve said this for over a year). It’s a logjam that is hurting all of them — and the team.

What infielders, besides Rosario?
They stink right now. Offense is not good. Karinchak not a great start either.

Rosario, Arias, Freeman, Rocchio, Naylor, Noel. Thats 6 guys who are already too good for AAA; competing for 3 spots (and thats with Bell locked into DH role not 1B).
My preference would be to keep Rocchio, Freeman and probably Arias. But they just need to make a decision. Its KILLING Arias and Rosario having 2 of them up at the same time. Rosario pressing (hes not great anyway) and Arias not getting ABs. Imagine when we finally call up Rocchio - who is the best SS prospect of them all and destroying AAA right now. Ultimately, we are just killing our own roster by having them all on the 40-man and 9+ major league capable players taking up 4 spots (with Jose and Gimenez locked into their places).
Same thing with Gonzalez in the OF -- and Valera/Brennan are probably better long-term than him here also. But he needs ABs.

I think the pitch clock has Karinchak in a bad place.
Well, we got a great comeback win tonight.
8 innings of the worst baseball of the year, salvaged by Aaron Boone. Don’t let the comeback overshadow the awful approach to the plate and horrific hitting that game.
OK.
But, still, a nice win.
Whoa
Tito gotta retire man. He’s on one hell of a run of terrible decisions dating back to the start of last year.

Should get win 2000 in 2025

The way he is managing, he’ll stretch that to 2027

I’ve seen the AL Central…he’s set
Nice series win vs twins, but still just ugly offense. They showed some signs. Not sure how Rocchio and Naylor stay down much longer
After 5 straight series losses, finally a win.
So we have the same record now as last year at this time.

Don't fall into that trap. We had a 3.9 offensive WAR as a team at this point last year -- which was top half (I think 12 or 13th) in MLB. We are 30/32 this year, with a 0.0 (which is before last night, which probably took us to negative).

I've been saying this for weeks. There is nothing good about Titos lineups right now. Yesterday we had 5 hits, all singles. 4 of them were from 3 guys he refuses to give ABs to. Instead sticking with Rosario in the 2-hole who will not be with the team next year (and maybe not past the deadline).
They have the worst SLUGGING since like 1976...
And the pitching has been decent.
Fry with a drive to the track and a hit. Arias with a hit and good ABs. Freeman with 2 hits. And Straw with a hit. That was it last game. So, we roll out there with Naylor at 5 and Rosario 2 instead of Fry and Freeman?? Fry who mashed lefties for Naylor who is like career .109 hitter vs lefties is fucking abominable managing.
Tito or management hates bringing up the youth. Bring up everyone

Valera I am fine with waiting a month since hes only been healthy for 1 game. Give him some time.
Naylor should be up when you look at what the fuck we trot out behind the plate. Rocchio I guess same, but Arias would need to go down. Id prefer to see what we have with him over an extended period. Rosario should absolutely be dealt after his next multi-hit game. Freeman needs to be playing everyday as well.
