Anyone else way over their cap of how much they can talk or care about this.

I am.  I thought about it too much today when in reality I didn't watch the Oscars (or even know they were on), did not see any of the films or actors nominated for any of the awards, and don't really care one bit about any of the people involved.

I'm only interested in the memes.

And there are some doozies. Especially the mean ones about him being a cuck.

Oh yeah. It was funny when I first woke up today and read about it while scrolling through my phone. And then it seemed that every other story or social media post was about it and things got pretty tiresome really quickly.

I saw that trending this morning. Savage.

Over it? Yeah. Annoyed? Not quite yet. It is still entertaining me much more than the normal day to day BS. Plus, nothing of note until FF on Saturday.

If you truly think about it, it's maybe the most shocking thing to happen on live TV (outside of like bombings, 9/11, war, etc)

I will have to give it a 2nd shot as I loved Loki but Peacemaker I stopped halfway into Ep2 as I thought it sucked.

It got better. I thought the same until about halfway.

Atlanta started back last week and is still one of the best TV shows on.

I thought it was a bit. Chris Rock's ability to keep going was impressive.

I don't know if anyone remembers the awful NBC show the slap from a few years ago, but I immediately thought of it when I saw the clip. So dumb.

Very conspiracy theory but there is belief. among some, that it was fake because of the award show's dying ratings. Trying to create some "buzz."

I thought so at first, but then his cussing him out rules that out in my mind.

I'm also rare to believe in things like that.

9/11 was inside job and we’ve never been to the moon, either.

You know that none of those are similar… Rock letting it happen and even leaning towards it makes it all questionable. But Will finding out people hate him and want to make fun of him letting his wife cheat on him would not be worth it. He’s been taking L’s for it all day

That show is still terrible, rating sill shit, so if it wasn’t planned, congrats on making up a percent or two in viewership

I highly doubt he let that happen or it was staged. He probably thought Will was going with the joke and tried to play along…even calling him Richard as he approached.

Way too many people would have to be involved, just like any other dumb conspiracy theory about something. If it was fake, it will come out.

Per usual, I think Occam’s razor applies here.

Didn't say it was my conspiracy theory or that I believe it.

My opinion was he was absolutely pissed off and it wasn’t staged but nothing would ever surprise me these days

Same here. I will say one thing though, him being pissed off at least brought attention to something (the ceremony) that probably 95% of the population wouldn't care or talk about.

I don't think this was staged and I believe literally every other conspiracy.

Yeah, I don't think he would have been OK with the expletive laden rant after.

Although it definitely looked like he "pulled" that slap.  Seemed like he only grazed him with the fingers.

Who slaps someone these days, anyway?  Will Smith may have started a new trend.

Bringing back the old-school way of pulling off your glove, smacking the other person in the face with it and demanding a duel for satisfaction. I approve of this.
