Too far. Aside from weekend lodging, this will be on the company's dime. Uber to and from airport, maybe some meals. I'm not trying to abuse it.

We're all booked for a 9-day trip to Italy in May. Will be flying into Rome --> Amalfi Coast --> Florence --> out of Venice. Also have a full night in Lisbon on the way back. Outside of the touristy things, I'm most excited for the Path of the Gods in Positano and a boat excursion we have planned to Capri.

That sounds awesome. I LOVE Italy.
Headed to Dublin (Ireland) in a few weeks. Has anyone been? Any recommendations outside the usual shit (Guiness, Jameson, etc)?

Wife and I will be headed to Ireland/Northern Ireland in April -- if all goes as planned. Hopefully round up some decent priced flights. Will be following the recommendations, although we will have some personal friends help us while we are there.

Let me know if they still have Beamish. It's a cheaper Guinness. We only stayed in Dublin for a day, so not much. The Guinness tour is cool though.

A coworker of mine mentioned Beamish. Is it good? How is their craft beer scene? I have heard it actually isn't impressive, which surprised me.

So I went maybe 6+ years ago when I was in my mid 20's, and not too crazy into "good" beer. We went to a lot of small towns and on draft the only options were usually Smithwicks, Guinness, and Beamish. If you like Guinness, Beamish is good. I didn't really try to drink much else because I figured in Ireland, might as well just drink Guinness. I believe that Guinness tastes better there than in the US.
Ireland is awesome. Went last year to Dublin, around November. Literally every bar/restaurant we went to was amazing. We did the Guinness tour and it was really fun. We then went to Doolin for 3 days and stayed at a bed and breakfast. That was incredible. Best lamb dish I’ve ever had in my life.
I was actually looking at tickets to Ireland recently. Found a round trip ticket for $398. That’s insane. I’ll be going back at some point this year.

Do you subscribe to Scott’s cheap flights? I’ve gotten emails to Dublin for sub $500 multiple times in the last year. I have a baby so it isn’t as easy but w/o kids it’s a great site. I’d probly even pay for the premium one if you have enough vaca.

I do not. I can check it out though. I need to pick up a flight to Montreal in July for a bach party
I use scott's and it's pretty awesome. Pays for itself after one flight. Google flights is also your best friend. I have found great deals from tracking specific dates for several locations. That's why we are going to Dublin. I started tracking back in the summer for presidents weekend and finally a price dropped to $340. We pounced.

I have been looking a lot. Where are you flying out of and what airline?
Unfortunately, WOW Air hasn't been updated to when we plan on flying. They've been awesome prices. Haven't found any that touch them yet. I try to look at Scott's and Pomelo both.
California for a week coming up, Louisiana for a month, California for another two weeks and possibly Germany for a month all for my part time job so it could be a crazy year.
Leaving for Vegas next Tuesday. Departing out of Detroit, hopefully the weather up there isn't too crazy.

Same, but out of Cleveland.
Colorado trip booked. April 3-8. This is the latest I've ever gone for a snowboard trip. I think we're getting an Air BnB in Nederland, small hippy town outside of Denver. Looks like some decent nearby hiking and it's close to Eldora ski area. Other than that just going to find the best snow. I went out with my gf (she skis) for the first time last week, she's VERY....beginner. She'd shit if we went to Vail or somewhere huge, so I have to plan accordingly.
Getting married in Columbus this weekend and then heading to Montego Bay in jamaica for a week after. Pumped. This cold has been brutal.
I really enjoyed the Grand Canyon and Vegas. Brunch at Wicked Spoon and dinner at Craftsteak were excellent. Backstreet Boys were phenomenal.
Next up, Charleston in 3 weeks.

Is this place themed after Casablanca?
