Maybe. We havent really seen it in the 4 team version yet, though. With NIL, and especially some of the clauses that say these guys can't skip March Madness/CFP, I think it will be less and less incentive to not play. The top teams players arent going to skip on a chance for a National Title and the lower end teams who have NFL worthy talent will likely already be making enough in NIL that the money isnt as big of an incentive.

I think that the NFL was at the top of his list on coming back all along. I hypothesize that he could have played in the playoff, that he was healthy enough. But given the receiving core, he opted out. That's my opinion. I don't see it as any different that a player who was fully healthy all season opting to do the same.

Harbaugh is back.
15 of 22 starters return. 33/44 from their 2 deep return (information according to 247's Zach Shaw). Not sure if he is including some of those transfers that started at their previous schools and will likely step into starting roles at Michigan.
Corum/Edwards should be one of the best backfield duos in the country in the last 10-15 years (drawing blanks thinking of some others...Reggie Bush/Lendale White, Ingram/Richardson Bama, Gordon/White WISC, McFadden/Jones Arkansas, who else?)
Michigan has now reached the level of "expected" to win a national championship. Kind of crazy to think of considering 2 years ago Michigan was coming off that abysmal COVID season.
I think Georgia would have curb stomped Michigan just like they did last year. They have yet another top flight out of conference schedule with East Carolina, UNLV and Bowling Green all making trips to the large round high school bleacher field. I guess a slate like that allows the Michigan Men to focus on their academics since it is the finest university west of Oxbridge.
