Oh, in the cases of CC and Quaker, there will be plenty of crying. Years of it. So, if you like to feast on tears, this site will definitely be an all-you-can-drink buffet.

As a conservative I hope this thread is actually filled with positive news if Biden is elected. I hope for the best for our country no matter who is in charge.

With a R Senate, Biden is going to have to play the middle lane. I think that is perfectly fine. 

Also, the market has not tanked yet, so maybe Biden won't be so bad? 

Along with his master plan for COVID I am looking forward to this only now that he will be elected president

That's the most bizarre thing given Trump's legal challenges and appearing unlikely to concede even when it's called.  Interesting explanation I heard today was if the Repubs keep the Senate, the progressive agenda is DOA for at least 2 years (so the market is reacting to the tax cuts remaining in place).   You can also probably say Biden won't start (or finish) any trade wars, so that's a positive for the economy.

But Trump's not going away even if he leaves the White House - so do we keep using that same thread, or do we start new thread for Former Trump Admin?

Both senate races are likely going to a runoff in Georgia.  It's a very big if.

I would think the R’s would win pretty easily with Biden winning.

I know my old man always said he voted for the opposite party for congress than he did for president to balance out power. I’ve heard a lot of people say that too. Whether that still holds true today or not I don’t know.

Wishful thinking.  I'm just trying to wrap my head around how much money would pour into those races.  Google, Twitter and Facebook would write blank checks if the Dems promise to leave them alone for 4 years.

That's going to be fun to watch.  Taking on Big Tech might be about the only bipartisan thing DC can still manage.  Both the House and Senate are close enough that the Repubs would only need a small number of Dems, and that definitely seems like a possibility.

Maybe. it looks like we just saw it in this election though. People voted for Biden and for Republican congress

The best thing we could do for Joe is to get him a Democratic Senate. There should be coordination of resources. Everyone who campaigned for Joe should get ready to head to Georgia. I’ll go. It’s the only way to sideline Mitch and give Joe a unified government.

Well where we are each candidate has a letter by their name. So if you voted for a president with a D by their name, you’d vote for a senator with an R by their name.

In a runoff it’s even easier since you know who the president is. 

Looking forward to riots in downtown DC again on Inauguration Day lol.
