That is the batshit stuff of the interwebs.  If you believe in that stuff, there is nothing that can be done for you.

Welp, my employer's accounts are frozen.  Apparently, the investors have locked down everything, so I'm now not only not getting paid, but I am owed back pay.

Fucking bullshit.

I hope to God you don't fall for any of that BS. I LOL when they zoomed in on Tom Hank's son tattoo of the all seeing eye. Of course!

Finally found toilet paper, which we actually need (not hoarding) but boy the old "supply & demand" is certainly kicking in. Is an 18 pack of Charmin usually $18?

Dont think so.   Lucky enough that my FT job is allowing me to work from home.  Downfall of that is 80% of my TP usage was always at work and the gym!

Local place usually has TP.   Worker told me they have a good amount in the back, but only put some out each night for the mornings, and then again around 2pm they put out more.

The entire company, from the CEO down, is not getting paid apparently.  This is ridiculous.

I'm in digital marketing, which has been mostly immune, but I work in the CBD niche, which is really new, so this market tailspin is throwing the whole space into uncertainty, and apparently, that's why the investors have everything shut down.

Sorry to hear Laley.

My sister just got taken off salary, moved to 1099. She's in med sales, cosmetic (PRP and shit like that). Sucks. :(

This sounds a little fishy, unless the company literally has zero cash or loan availability.

Sorry to hear, regardless.

They're getting a loan now, and they're trying to work with the investors to get things opened up.  Some of it has to do with the extra hoops for banking with a CBD company, as most banks either won't do business with a CBD company still.

Speaking of this CBD stuff, can you pop hot on drug tests if you use some of those things, like for  a massage oil for pain and such?

We do anywhere from 40-100% drug testing each month at work...

Havent checked my EFT cannabis funds...after a great middle of 2019 it had been tanking the last 6 months....

Well I'm sorry about your predicament. Lots of us are likely in the same boat - or will be. Not that this helps your situation except to know on a basic human level that you've got fellow travelers. God bless.

I just got my bonus from last year right before the major shutdowns started (schools, bars, etc).

I was going to use it to pay for our family's summer vacation to the caribbean, but now it is sitting in the savings in case things don't get better soon (economically) and I get furloughed.

Once we get through the woods, then I will make the vacation plans...hopefully just delays us from July to August.

If it's used topically, I don't THINK so.  In addition, whether it is full-spectrum or made from isolate matters as well.

For drug tests, isolate is the safe option.

It's all good, man.  I appreciate it.  Fortunately, my skill set translates niches pretty well, so I've got feelers out.  May be liquidating a chunk of my savings in the meantime, but we'll figure it out.

It does help to know that we're not alone, though.  Thank you.

Kind of wondering if the economic impact is going to cause people to lose patience with the business closings, quarantining, no sports, etc. sooner than later.

Just heard from a long-time business contact of mine that one of his cousins has it.  He's in ICU.  He's 40 and had no health problems prior.

Man, this stuff is just awful.

The good news is that there is a malaria drug that seems to work for this (I believe there was even a case study done) . The FDA just approved it for use.

May work. Emphasis on the word may.

It is important “not to provide false hope,” FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn said at the White House’s daily press briefing on the coronavirus. But Trump has “asked us to be aggressive” and “break through exciting, life-saving treatment, and we’re doing that at the FDA,” Hahn said.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/19/coronavirus-treatment-trump-directs-fda-to-examine-whether-malaria-drug-can-be-used.html

Still, would be welcome news.
