I had the Pfizer and Flu shot on Friday night. I was miserable for about 36 hours.

Actually really helpful.  I'm sure it will be studied, and I don't know why it could be an issue but I'm not going to mix the flu and booster shot!

My parents both got Pfizer booster and flu shot on Sunday. One day of being dead tired. That's it.

They taking applications?  I need some Christmas cash.

Was at Walmart tonight so I said "what the Hell, let's see if I can get my booster." I asked the lady at the pharmacy if I qualified and she said "don't worry, we're giving the boosters to anyone who wants them." Had my second Pfizer back in April. Opted for the Moderna today. So far, getting chills but not much else.

Any reason you went for Moderna when you had the Pfizer first?

Just heard it was a more effective cocktail. Not sure if true or not.

I think I'll go that route as well.

If they don't have Pfizer, I guess I'll go with Moderna or even J&J.

If I have a choice, I'll stick with Pfizer.  I suppose it probably won't matter, but if I stick with Pfizer then I'm in a cohort where the original trial participants are 6+ months ahead of me in the regimen.  If I get a Moderna booster, then I'm in a brand new cohort with a much shorter history.

I was vaccinated with Moderna, and for now rather not play around with the mix & match method until we see a larger sample of real life data on it.  It sucks, because there is plenty of Pfizer supply here, but Moderna won't be in until the end of November.  I am scheduled for the last day of November.  I was hoping to get it before traveling on Thanksgiving week, but oh well.

Italy also is now mandating their green pass for boosters for 65+ year olds.  It's only a matter of time they apply this to everyone.

Germany basically mandating it for everyone.

I'm kind of surprised Putin hasn't secretly injected everyone in Russia...

Or did he?

Got Moderna back in December/January, got Pfizer yesterday. Pharmacist said it wasn’t a big deal and that CDC said it was fine to mix. More importantly, I was too lazy to cancel the appointment and go search out a place giving Moderna.

Anyways, no ill effects other than sore arm.

I had Pfizer, but got boosted with Moderna because that was all they had.  Otherwise, there was like a two-week wait to get an appointment.

Arm was a bit sore for a day or two, and felt a bit "off" for a day.  Upset stomach mostly, sort of like you might get if you were starting to come down with the flu.  But less of a reaction than when I had my second Pfizer shot when I had low-grade fever and chills at night.

Wife got her’s Thursday but hadn’t been feeling great since Tuesday…every year sinus stuff. Felt tired late Friday and slept well into Saturday. This morning felt the best she has since Tuesday BUT her smell and taste senses were pretty much not working.

Tested positive.

I’ll keep testing but if I’m still negative through Tuesday I’m getting my booster on Wednesday

I see now people are starting to say you're only fully vaxxed if you've had the booster.

So what will that mean for people who got a natural "booster" contracting Covid?  You're probably smart to keep getting tested so you can prove it.

Moderna booster mid afternoon  yesterday (along with Flu shot in other arm).

About 9 pm, started feeling chilly and achy, then the scratchy throat. By 7:30 this morning, began to feel better.

Was similar for me.

Pfizer booster earlier today.  Sore arm is all I feel.  That's all I felt after the first two as well.

Well, I got my Moderna booster yesterday morning.  By the evening i was shivering from chills and had a decent fever over night.  I didn't get out of bed until 1130 this morning.  Still have slight chills and a headache, but hopefully slowly getting better.

It's weird, because the first two shots I had very mild symptoms.  I figured a half dose of the same shot would not be an issue.

Probably means your body quickly recognizes it now and creates a quick and powerful reaction.

Scheduled Moderna booster for next Friday so I wouldn't have to deal with work if I feel like ass.

First two were Pfizer, but decided to mix it up. Mostly because nearby places are only offering Moderna boosters.
