Rex is a full on looney toon at this point. I still follow because he posts JUST enough of the good, sentimental stuff that I like to see. Plus the block or charge is still there a bit. 

But its getting increasingly tougher to sift through his BS. 

...and I mostly lean his direction on non-fiscal issues politically.

We were going to be at that parade. But my 1 year old daughter slept in, and her typical nap schedule didn’t align for the day. My wife was then going to take just our 3 year old son, but he wanted to play with his friend across the street. 

She is still shook up. 

And then today the zoo we go to gets closed for a situation and armed police swarmed the place (yet to be determined what actual issue was).

Just look at the "Disgusted with Progressives" thread and imagine if the main posters contributing there were left-wing, but keeping the same "everything about the other side SUCKS!" stance and posting just as often. For all intents and purposes, that's Rex.

It's a weird decision to make as far as getting Twitter clout, I must admit. Regardless of what side they take, all the people who take it on themselves to be Twitter poli-minds like him, Nick Adams, etc. pretty much exist to get ratio'd every time they tweet because they're all so fucking stupid.

Yeah, that was both pathetic and disgusting. If there's a police force that deserves to be marginalized and ostracized by an entire community, it's that one. Hell, the locals could probably do a better job policing themselves -- at least some of them were actually willing to go into the school.

Unarmed parents would have done better. No doubt in my mind.
