Very sad. A silver lining is he got to go out doing what he loved - he coached practice the same day as his emergency. What a character.

He would have given Hot Lips the jowls of a goddess.

Shit, I saw he was in critical condition. Way too young.

Damn. I took batting practice (I think it was 10 swings) at Great American 12ish years ago and Mr Perfect was the pitcher. He was a funny dude.
4 years ago before a Reds game my son and it were in elevator to go up in Reds HOF…as door shuts an arm reaches in to stop and on jumps Browning….stood right beside me. We all got off on the top floor and he had us walk with him and he and Danny Graves were signing autographs. Talked to us all the way and brought us back behind the table for the first autographs and pictures.
6 months earlier he was at the Huntington Mall at a Reds Caravan and I brought my rookie card of him to sign…apologized to Buddy Bell who was right beside him for not having his card ready.
A good dude.
I hate this news. RIP Mr. Perfect

Very unfortunate timing, although there's never really a fortunate time to pass.

Holy crap that's a shocker.
Damn man. Tough sports week.
They said on ESPN Franco just did an interview with Chris Russo yesterday and one of the reporters spent half an hour with him.
RIP to a legend.
Bad week for former running backs. Former Denver Bronco RB, Ronnie Hillman, 31 of cancer

Ruggero Deodato, 83. Italian film director most known for Cannibal Holocaust — which did such a good job of portraying violence that he was jailed and had to prove (ie: call in the actors) he didn't just make a snuff film.

A couple of my grade school nuns would probably kick my ass for saying this, but I always found that guy really scary looking. He looked like a villain in a Harry Potter type world.
