BIG RED
What in the h _ _ _ are you talking about? Big Red's defense held Dover to "0" 1st downs and "9" TOTAL YARDS in the 1st half..."113" TOTAL YARDS in the game! You do realize that they were averaging over "400" yards a game!purplesage wrote: While I'm at it "Where was this vaunted Dover Offense????" Passes under thrown, running backs non-existent what gives?????? Nice return game!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was extremely disappointed with this game overall from both teams but expected much more from Dover's "O"!!!!!!!!
Maybe YOU should be gearing your disappointment towards Martins Ferry!!!
RRR -
d.woods50fan.I got laughed at all week by saying BR small O line would pancake dover all night long, and the blitz would hit MM all night long. Great job line of scrimage !!! Pancakes and The O line blocked 4- 10 yards down field all night !!! I kinda felt bad for MM getting blasted play after play, but hes strong and lasted !! The fans did STOP cheering when he WAS hurt, then cheered for him leaving the field. The dover offense attack was nothing like the florida i heard all week, would like to see something deep to keep BR D honest. MAZE #1 is a PLAYER!!!
2 words both teams always say: BR = NEXT WEEK, DOVER = NEXT YEAR -
d.woods50fan.BTW you tried to take BR G.A.T.A ; didnt work !!! , you tried to take BR band half time show ; didnt work !!! ,
we told you ... D.E.F.W.U -

No no no. You cheered on the hit. FINE. Loudest cheer came after the hit and when he tried to get up and didn't. Classless. I hope mooney beats you in your sorry ass special teams.Strapping Young Lad wrote:
We were cheering the BIG hit. Get over yourself....bases_loaded wrote: Big Red was flat out the better team tonight. Dover seemed like they were playing not to get blown out and Big Red wasn't doing anything special and moving the ball fine. I wish I could say I want the Big Red to win it all but on the 2nd to last play of the 1st half, Marcus was hit and had to leave the game for a play. While it was a good hit and the fans went nuts(on the hit) and thats fine, the loudest cheer of the night from the Big Red side OTHER than maybe when they won the game was when #7 didn't get up right away. Unreal. I had to bite my tongue as there were young kids around me but that was one of the most disrespectful classless things I have ever seen in high school football game...I thought I was in Philadelphia when Michael Irvin was knocked out. Good luck to the players but your fans are assholes
And it got louder because our D came to the sidelines...Again, GET OVER YOURSELF!!!!

5-8 seconds.....5-8 seconds.J-Dover wrote: Dover's O-line will be the difference maker in this game. Mammo will have 5-8 secs to throw and will pick BR D apart. When Mammo's arm gets tired of throwing we line up in the double tight stacked I and run up and down the field, consuming the clock.
ROLL DOVER ROLL
Yes, he did say 5-8 seconds. -

footballerCongrats you guys are all cool on the internet! I shouldn't make fun because I know its probably the only thing you guys can cling to in your miserable dirtball lives. Thank goodness a bunch of 17 year kids could bring such happiness to you 40 year old unemployed river rats.
On another note with this game over this site will die a swift death. -
Gardens35In fairness to the Steubenville guys...............some of those kids are 18.

I didn't wear white...you can't "white out" a team when you don't make up more than half the stadium....and you can't white out a team when everyones wearing coats. I couldn't believe someone thought that was a good idea.tank2nasty wrote:

Run4DaHillsI just passed thru Steubenville and what a rundown, dirtbag town. No wonder none of the players live there.
-
bases_loadedDon't confuse the players with their fans and huddlers. It was pretty amazing to watch a high school offense run so fluidly last night. That is a compliment to the kids and the coaching staff for Big Red. Even if their fans cheer loudest when the opposing teams star player is hurt and the huddlers can't win with class, that was a GREAT team Dover played last night.
