Massillon donated old uniforms to Dalton and Green in years past.BRF;1878115 wrote:Old lore says that Dalton chose their colors in honor of Massillon and their nickname in honor of McKinley. -

If you knew that there weren't playoffs before 1972, you wouldn't have asked who won the playoffs. Your knowledge of football is very limited. You have posters calling you out every week for incorrect information that you post. You were corrected on the playoffs this week. Last week you were corrected by another poster when you thought JD Spielman had played for Massillon. You then call people "stupid" when they help you.chiefy jones;1878131 wrote:Omg are you people stupid. Our ignorant friend Alice Bundy, posing as a Massillon fan wants to fictitiously claim the 72 title....still with me people? My point was, there WERE NO PLAYOFFS PRE 72....hence Massillon claiming their pre 72 titles.
I must say, a person shouldn't have to draw this many pictures for y'all. -

Interesting. I wonder when that was? Maybe 1920's or 30's?chiefy jones;1878133 wrote:Massillon donated old uniforms to Dalton and Green in years past.
I know that in the 1930's, Paul Brown came to Orrville to speak about tips on how to set up a booster club. -

Having posted on here for years, I really didn't think anyone, especially you, would understand where I was going with that. I'll take the blame for overestimating your intelligence. -

You are using the English language incorrect again. You overestimated your own intelligence. You were the only one who didn't know the year that the playoffs started. Several people on here have corrected you.chiefy jones;1878142 wrote:Having posted on here for years, I really didn't think anyone, especially you, would understand where I was going with that. In Massillon, our booster club is amazing. We are currently in what is referred to as the Combine Era of Massillon football. Without our booster club, this era would not be a success. Many volunteer their time and resources to help run the combine, find jobs for the parents, and relocate families.BRF;1878141 wrote:Interesting. I wonder when that was? Maybe 1920's or 30's?

Brown left with all of their top players and said "This is how we became an elite program."superman;1878309 wrote:How did that meeting go? -

You don't have to draw a picture. Just don't be wrong. Massillon absolutely has state championships, but it was you who added the unnecessary and incorrect word "playoff" into the statement.chiefy jones;1878131 wrote:I must say, a person shouldn't have to draw this many pictures for y'all.
I don't know if you're aware, but words actually mean different things in the English language.
I'll do my very best when you try saying things that aren't incorrect and then defending them.chiefy jones;1878132 wrote:You might want to try comprehension.
Or ... you could just take the blame for saying that they'd won playoff championships when, in fact, they did not.chiefy jones;1878142 wrote:Having posted on here for years, I really didn't think anyone, especially you, would understand where I was going with that. It was in October of 1939. He spoke to a group of townsmen gathered at the high school and said that the best time to start a booster club is when you have a good football team, and Orrville has a winning football team this year. He told the coach to dress the boys up in gym suits and run some plays for the men's group to watch, while explaining how the plays work. The fans are made to feel that they are in the know and they love it. And that's how our booster club started.superman;1878309 wrote:How did that meeting go? -

Were you still on the team then or were you in the stands watching?BRF;1878381 wrote:It was in October of 1939.
