gosh a ruddies, once the games really started to count, Massillon paper tigers stopped winning championships.Al Bundy;1863182 wrote:We won them by perfection on the field. -

So you cherry pick when the games "really started to count?"isadore;1863194 wrote:gosh a ruddies, once the games really started to count, Massillon paper tigers stopped winning championships. -

gosh a ruddies, lol, they lose the games when it starts to count to win a real championship.Al Bundy;1863196 wrote:So you cherry pick when the games "really started to count?" -

Pick one of our championship years, and try to make an argument of why someone else should have won it that year. You can't do it. Each of our championship seasons was pretty clear cutisadore;1863207 wrote:gosh a ruddies, lol, they lose the games when it starts to count to win a real championship. -

Gosh a ruddies, OK, lets take 1972. Massillon went undefeated in the regular season, won the phony AP State Championship. And lost in the first round of the playoffs to Cincinnati Princeton, who themselves were later eliminated. And Massillon has lost ever since then in the real championships.Al Bundy;1863209 wrote:Pick one of our championship years, and try to make an argument of why someone else should have won it that year. We played the best schedule in the nation. We went 10-0 and outscored our opponents 179-29. -

This sounds like the argument that the Browns beat the Chargers, who beat the Raiders, who beat the Bills, who beat the Patriots. Therefore, the Browns were better than the Patriots.isadore;1863234 wrote:Cincinnati Princeton beat Massillon

Gosh we start with the obvious fact Massillon lost to Princeton in the first round. In a year Massillon won the phony AP championship but they lost when it counted in a playoff toward a real championship.Al Bundy;1863266 wrote:This sounds like the argument that the Browns beat the Chargers, who beat the Raiders, who beat the Bills, who beat the Patriots. At that point, the Associated Press mattered more than Harbin. Even today, I bet more people have heard of the Associated Press than have heard of Harbin. I'd be happy to administer a poll at the women's shoe store that I work at.isadore;1863279 wrote:Gosh we start with the obvious fact Massillon lost to Princeton in the first round. As you go outside of Ohio, no one has heard of Harbin, but everyone has heard of the Associated Press. Across the nation no one has heard of Marion Local, but everyone has heard of Massillon. There is so much interest in us that we are the only high school game that you can bet on in Vegas.isadore;1863359 wrote:gosh a ruddies, you need to widen your sample. -

Massillon is a poor dying town. The talent has left that area a long time ago. The GCL has around 150 state titles since 72. People in Texas think of Ohio football as St X, Moeller, and St IggyAl Bundy;1863364 wrote:As you go outside of Ohio, no one has heard of Harbin, but everyone has heard of the Associated Press. Gosh a ruddies, 2016 AP picked Cincinnati Colerain as Division I champs but Cincinnati St. Xavier is the real champ. And that is true of all AP picks, not the real champs until they win it on the field.Al Bundy;1863364 wrote:As you go outside of Ohio, no one has heard of Harbin, but everyone has heard of the Associated Press. We brought in the best tackle from the GCL last year. They make movies about us, none of the other teams that you mentioned. None of those other teams have a Vegas line on their games.Raider;1863399 wrote:Massillon is a poor dying town. The talent has left that area a long time ago. They made a movie because your community is insane. That's why teen mom, buck wild, cops, and Jerry springer are popular. The Harbin points had St. Xavier 5th in their region. Until recent years, they wouldn't have even qualified for the tournament. You picked an excellent example of why the tournament system is flawed.isadore;1863400 wrote:Gosh a ruddies, 2016 AP picked Cincinnati Colerain as Division I champs but Cincinnati St. Xavier is the real champ.
