won by lobbying, not on the field. Massillon has no championships won on the field.

Massillon has more national titles than everyone in that conference combined.

Are you trying to say that the Ohio D7 champion is better than the national champion?

D7 championships are real, Massillon's are not. Massillon stopped winning championships when they became real, won on the playing field.

The tournament has changed many times in terms of number of divisions and number of teams that qualify. In the 70s, many 10-0 teams did not qualify. Does that lessen the titles won in those years because they may not have had to play a great team?

gosh a ruddies, boy none of that describes Massillon, no 10-0 teams that did not make the playoffs. Massillon teams just consistently choked when they did.

...Al the OHSAA specifically created a whole new division for football so that Massillon could finally win a title and they still can't grab that magic ring!

We played the best schedule in the country. If we went undefeated, there was no doubt that we earned our title. So many teams manipulate the current system. Some schools even play Canadian teams for easy points (when we played a Canadian team, we picked the best that they had). I just think the current system is more flawed.

gosh a ruddies, LOL you thinks it flawed because the teams that play Massillon in the playoff are allowed to score more points than the paper tigers. Even when Massillon plays the supposed best schedule in the country and go 10-0, they choke in the playoffs.

In the tournament era, there has been winners with 4 and 5 losses. Can honestly say that a team that loses half of their is truly the champion for the season. When we won , we put everything on the line every week.

gosh a ruddies, we found out about the true nature of Massillon over the last 45 years when the tournament applied true pressure, 0 championships. The MLB, NFL, NBA, NCAA, OHSAA championships do not go to the team with the best record, but to the team that can win the games under tournament pressure, the paper tigers can not handle the pressure.

For years, all of the sports that you mentioned did not have a tournament. However, we still count their titles before the tournament began.

Sounds like a pretty poor strategy for Massillon. Maybe the players and coaches should attempt to adapt to the sport as it grows and improves. If they started that now they would only be 45 years behind.

NFL, NBA, MLB in those years, played all the teams in their league. Massillon's continuous failure for 45 years to prove itself on the playing field proved they are paper tigers.

gosh a ruddies, well if they ever form the Consistent Choker League, the paper tigers will be a charter member.
