The Troll KingThis is troll queen.... I have to reply and my phone is not allowing it at this time here is what I have to say I had no idea my opinion would cause such an attack I will no longer post to this site it is not necessary that people posting are going to be bullying me and wishing hardship on me and my family just for stating an opinion you are obviously correct my skin is not that tough I will not take part in such badgering and immaturity so have a nice evening and I just want you to know that although my skin is not that tough my husbands is. Troll Queen will no longer post.

The Troll KingThis is troll queen I am using my husband's name because I do not have access at this time. I will say I had no idea that stating my opinion would cause such a personal attack coming from someone who is lacking in maturity and is obviously a bully. this is supposed to be a place where people can get on here and say how they feel without having to worry about someone wishing hardships on their personal life. due to that fact I'm not interested in being a part of this forum anymore so thank you for letting me know what kind of person you are it seems to me that you have nothing better to do but get on here and attack those who differ in opinion. you attacked my character my children my parenting my job and you have no reason to do so... it really just says what type of person you are. have a nice evening and do not worry about seeing a post from me. my skin is definitely not tough enough, nor does it need to be. I will say this.....my husband's is! ! Good luck with that!

"When is the city of Orrville going to demand a new head football coach? If we had a real coach who actually stood by his team during a game and actually coached, kids would WANT to play and our football program would be back to the way it used to be....WINNERS and feared by EVERYONE!"
The first fallacy is the City of Orrville has anything to do with the athletics of Orrville High School. The fact is that most of the residents of Orrville could care less about Orrville Athletics or Orrville Football. More specifically, if you aren't originally from Orrville, you don't care unless your child is involved. The majority of the residents are getting younger and they do not associate the school as the pride of the city.
Next is your association between the past, present, and future. NEWS FLASH!!! THIS IS NOT THE ORRVILLE OF THE 70's, 80's, and 90's. The City of Orrville has drastically changed, namely the economics of the city that was the driving force of the high school's athletic success. It's not a manufacturing powerhouse anymore. Numbers of residents is way down, the population make-up is dramatically different, and the kids are just different now. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the city is going to turn into that economic blue collar town of the past anytime soon, if ever. The new shift in population prefers the round ball version of football. The kids are also different in that they have more things fighting for their attention than the kids from the last 10/20/30 years had. They are also used to instant gratification and feedback from what they do. Football isn't that type of game. I firmly believe it takes a special group of 15-20 kids every two years who defy the new normal, if consistent success is to be achieved.
Lastly, don't claim that bullying insanity. Your first post and all of those after made by you or your baby daddy was made without one single sane or reasonable statement to back your "opinion". You blindly called for a man and/or his staff to be relieved of their duties. I'm sure in your warped mind that relieved is not a term harsh enough. You would prefer the word fired. Sadly though, when someone blindly suggest that you suffer the same fate as that which you wish, you cower and claim bullying and are not smart enough to see that you've already stated that this exact thing happen to another person's and his family. Please act with the same maturity that you wish to be treated with, ugly troll. -

The Troll KingThank you for confirming what I said. Just to let you know there were several statements that you made that have nothing to do with me and are not facts, but your own opinion and lack of knowledge. I will say that wishing that the head coach would step down so his assistants can coach freely is hardly wishing financial hardship on his family. I will just let it go at that and I'm really just sitting here in awe. as I said before have a nice evening and if you claim that me wanting to withdraw from this forum is "cowering", then so be it.

I wasn't at the game, haven't seen film, and haven't seen a game plan, but from what you're describing, it sounds like Orrville may have been playing an "over/under" coverage where the corners aren't even responsible for the deep balls, but rather the safety's over the top are expected to defend the deep halves. Really not a bad game plan at all versus a team that employs an all out aerial attack. The Troll King;1748822 wrote: In my eyes it looked like the DB's we're playing too close to the line of scrimmage and getting burned deep . I mean a few of their throws were completed with a defender at least 15 yards away . Maybe they could have backed the defensive backs off the receiver 7 yards or so and let them read and react more to the ball instead of getting beat at the line of scrimmage . And I asked the question in my post about the Kickers inability to kick deep . I don't know why you had to attack my better half for having an opinion of her own . I guess the only two people on here who are allowed to have their own opinions are you and RedRider1 . She speaks her opinions just like you do . Just because they don't match yours that make them wrong I guess . It's the same thing every year on here no matter what kind of game the coach calls , or how the coaches prepare the kids it's always right in your eyes . I guess our eyes just see things differently .
Also, if you think coaching high school football is a luxury, you're delirious. These coaches put in 700-800 each season NOT counting their time monitoring the weight room, and they do it all for a couple thousand bucks. These guys coach because they love the game and they love the kids. You can question X's and O's of any coach, but don't question their desire to win and see their kids succeed, and certainly don't treat it like its a luxurious position, because the reality is 99% of adults aren't willing to put the time into kids that these coaches are, so at least give them some respect. The Troll King;1748832 wrote:You're correct my job doesn't allow me the luxury to spend every afternoon at the practice field watching these kids practice . I am NOT attacking the kids and I guess I don't actually see firsthand what the coaches do . What I base my opinion on is what I see on the field Friday night . I see the same plays ran over and over the same inability to tackle the same players out of position . I could go on and on. -

Oh well. I guess you think it's ok to say the things you do without any consequence or worry when it is someone else, but god forbid someone have those thoughts about you. Red Rider NationWow!! I am sure glad I don't go to the games anymore. I am really enjoying going to other games. Actually went to the Wooster game last night and caught up with 2 Orrville guys who kids' play at Wooster! I am enjoying not going home Friday nights frustrated. I haven't seen Orrville play and I won't but I will say this: a few of you said you wished they were in the PAC 7 this year as we would have a chance to win that league but isn't Triway in that league? And the team you play next week too which will also beat you? It won't get better guys just by switching conferences. Good luck the rest of the way! I spoke with someone very close to the school system and Doug isn't going anywhere. He is the assistant principal and Orrville does not want the bad publicity because he is a good assistant principal so you will deal with this for years to come. Troll King and Queen if you guys wanna join me on any Friday nite call or text me at 330-605-6038 and I will include you in our 10 week schedule. I am having a blast going to different games.

My better half was not wishing for this man to lose his job if it was his primary income . Nobody wants to see someone lose their income that's a terrible thing to wish on anybody . She was simply voicing her opinion that in her eyes this head coach is lacking in some areas . There's no need to continue the hate-filled posts or continue the personal attacks on each other .Oldest Rider2;1748919 wrote:I was hoping you had some common sense and comprehension. not sure I'm probably wrong I thought they were playing cover 2 but regardless they were out of position all night . It is very admirable what those guys do as far as donating their time and putting all the effort they do into coaching , maybe they're just not great X's n O's guys . Just my opinion there's no malice behind it .Dr. KnOiTaLL;1748901 wrote:I wasn't at the game, haven't seen film, and haven't seen a game plan, but from what you're describing, it sounds like Orrville may have been playing an "over/under" coverage where the corners aren't even responsible for the deep balls, but rather the safety's over the top are expected to defend the deep halves. Maybe you should learn how to run your household before you worry about running Orville football. It seems like you can't even control your wife and what she says. It can be cute when women try to talk about football, but they clearly don't understand the game. You need to grow up, take charge, and put her in her proper role of making samiches for football games. The Troll King;1748941 wrote:My better half was not wishing for this man to lose his job if it was his primary income .
