The dad of the qb we brought in from Oregon was given a very good job.Tiernan;1746204 wrote:Is it the AD's responsibility to find jobs for the recruit's "Daddy" who he's only seen at Xmas since he was born?
Oh wait...nevermind, I forgot...there are no jobs in Massillon anymore. Forget I said anything. -

Al is such the dumbass. Kempt's father is a vice pres of some kind for diebold, and was transferred to N Canton, relocated to Jackson Twp near Jeff David, and went out shopping for the best deal for his kid.Tiernan;1746275 wrote:...hand or blow?
David brought him to Massillon on the promise that Kyle would have the starting job for all three years.
Kyle Kempt is now the starting QB for some community college in Kansas.
Kempt was also promised that he would not have to expose himself to injury by <gasp> running with the ball. he was to be a "pro type pocket passer"
consequently Toledo Whitmer whipped Massillon's butts in Kempt's final game, Whitmer featuring Nate Holley as a running QB.
Kempt is a big slow moving gangly kid.... does not want to get hit.. -
TigerLBOh, persistent rumor in Massillon (coming from source inside MCSD) is that Nate Moore pulled a Tom Lombardo and tried to get LaSalle to take him back, which they refused.
got cold feet . "what the hell did I just do?"
I believe it to be "probably" true.
I would wager, today, that he wishes Lee Owens had never called him "to talk about recruiting <not named> LaSalle High School player" to attend mighty Ashland University. -

That doesn't even make sense. Once you get called up to the majors, you don't ask to be sent back down to the minors.TigerLB;1755122 wrote:Oh, persistent rumor in Massillon (coming from source inside MCSD) is that Nate Moore pulled a Tom Lombardo and tried to get LaSalle to take him back, which they refused.

We are the job that everyone around the country dreams of having. It is very similar to the Yankees, Lakers, and Packers.Wcal observer;1755201 wrote:Majors LMAO! Major has beens, and never was on the field! -
cannoli137Al, since your the man with all the inside info, at everyone's dream job ( hand or blow ), will this coach have his job, if the Tigers finish the season below .500 ?
I was sitting with a lot of the Tigers fans when they played Big Red, and all of them were very vocal & expressed their opinion on where he should go.
Dont get me wrong, but there is a big amount of talent on that team, but at times during the game, players just seemed so confused about what to do. Is it due to the system he's trying to install & it's going to take time, or is it like some of the Tiger fans said "He's in over his head & expections are very high in Tiger land ",? -

I'm not ready to make that decision at this point in time. If it is determined that we need send him back to the minors, we will do that. We made changes at head coach and qb after disappointing results from both positions last season.cannoli137;1755526 wrote:Al, since your the man with all the inside info, at everyone's dream job ( hand or blow ), will this coach have his job, if the Tigers finish the season below .500 ?

cannoli137Fully understand, with the rich tradition & storied program of the Tigers, anything less then a winning season & a playoff run, is unacceptable for most, if not all of the Tiger fans.

Correction....anything less than a national championship is unacceptable to us.cannoli137;1755604 wrote:Fully understand, with the rich tradition & storied program of the Tigers, anything less then a winning season & a playoff run, is unacceptable for most, if not all of the Tiger fans. -
Al BundyThe Best Team That Money Can Buy looked very impressive this week in dominating Ursuline. All of D2 is very concerned with the possibility of having to play us in the playoffs.

Great observation, every year we have more talent than 99% of the schools in the state (with the exception of Ohio State), if we could have landed a Chuck Kyle before Iggy did....Oh boy.cannoli137;1755526 wrote:Al, since your the man with all the inside info, at everyone's dream job ( hand or blow ), will this coach have his job, if the Tigers finish the season below .500 ?

Combine Massillons overwhelming talent with Kyle's ability to bring in MORE talent.
