I'll make this one exception, as it is Massillion and its hard to distinguish them.bases_loaded;1327135 wrote:I don't associate with skanks. -
skankTrue sept, we had 34 of them and you had none. Oh, sorry, I thought you said points.
Seriously guys, let me remind you,
St. V vs Dover.

DoverbuckLooking forward to spending the evening at Paul Brown stadium since the Tigers don't need it anymore.
-
skankOf course we don't need it anymore, nobody can use their home stadium after week #11. (except maybe McKinley) But we'll gladly take your money.
Again, here's hoping everybody stays healthy and has a good experience.

Nothing to be ashamed of Doverites, or is it Doverinians? either way. You reached the State Semi's for the first time ever. Good year.
GO Thurgood Marshall. -

GO Thurgood Marshall. -
bases_loadedGoing into tonight I knew the winner next week would be Thurgood Marshall, but after seeing the size and speed of StVstM it might be worth seeing. Looked like David and Goliath but we forgot our slingshot

You act as if there was every real chatter here. -
Pick6crybaby Dover fan:
Oh there will be changes, top dog of the coaching board and one of the board of directors are both Tornadoes forever, and that's just one school out of over 600 that have witnessed too many public executions over the decades by these urban parochials. OHSAA big wigs looking mighty public lately, I think some might have even taught classes on the separation of church and state.
SVSM used to be 2 schools, Saint Vincent and Saint Mary. But then 1970 OHSAA instituted playoffs with 3 divisions, 4 regions per division and just took the computer champion from each region to play each other. So Akron snobs changed up and consolidated, took them 2 fb seasons to get their ducks in a row but 1972 the 2 privates merged and took state. They've been buying wins since before these Dover boys were born. Props to the parent$ who's favorite movies are Remember the Titans and The Blindside but have never seen The Ten Commandments.
The last change vote 2 years ago was narrowly defeated because the tradition factor formula's attendance multiplier was so convoluted it would bump up more publics than privates. Vote on a separation is happening in May, guess which way that vote will go?
Congrats Akron upper middle class, you're exactly who we thought you'd be. You're not unique there's a mirror of you in every metro area of the state. It should have been Youngstown sending us home this year but they haven't cowarded up and merged Mooney with Ursuline yet. It's not gourmet cooking but 2 tuba players, a whole lot of tuition, and some Lebron's to add some pepper and Baby you got yourself a lower division state championship stew brewin!
Irish are a good D2 team, or an ok D1 team. Look at that schedule, proof is in the pudding. Bet the hundreds of Irish fans felt right at home at Paul Brown seeing as how they were just there week 9 playing the Region 2 Runner Up. But Week 14 OHSAA sends you back to that cathedral of a facility to embarrass the 12,000 people from Dover in a state semifinal game. It's cruel and wrong and will stop in May.
To hear any private support barbed with strawman cliches like "You have to play the best to be the best" get obliterated when evidence shows metro privates consistently play weaker teams in their "tournament" than they do in the regular season. That doesn't make metro privates champions, it makes them bullies.
Dover is not a D3 cupcake, but you ate us in one bite, bet you feel real tough... Bullies are cowards because they don't have the guts to fight battles they may lose. Enjoy your last season beating up on small city school districts, the tournaments will be separated in May. Dover is not a D3 cupcake, but you ate us in one bite, bet you feel real tough... Bullies are cowards because they don't have the guts to fight battles they may lose. And in May when they boot the yellow rich of Cleveland, Canton, Columbus, Youngstown, Dayton, Toledo, Cincinatti, and Akron into either a more equal TOURNAMENT, or into their own circle jerkjoke tournament where they can play with themselves... Me and every other justice seeker will be singing that LITERAL UNCLE TOM Disney song SVSM band was playing at half time last night. -
bases_loadedEdited...no reason to beat a dead horse.

1. Dont lump all Dover fans together. I didnt write that piece and wouldnt use that as an excuse.
2. NO one here complains about public vs. private more than YOU.
Dover got outplayed by a much, much better team that we couldnt beat once in 10 games.
The End. See this topic next year!! -

rmolin73I just wanted to coment on this snipet of the rant which was brought up else where.

From what I understand St. Marys was an all girls school. So how could they have helped?
