Red Rum & Miyagi informed me that you rang the bell poorly. I believe this is why the Falcons were upended. It's all your fault.

    Jmar...
don't get alot of opportunities to bust your chops....couldn't resist playing the Bayless card.

    Beast...
Not hearing much from you....under the Beast name anyway:laugh:. It's like you've become a timid little wall flower.........but it's okay, it happens to alot of guys with high estrogen counts. Cut back on watching Lifetime Movie Network, cancel your subscription to Womans Day, stop getting manicures...AND MAYBE YOU'LL START TO RE-GROW A SET.

    Catfan...
Give it up.....You're probably a nice guy and you're definitely too close to the Norwayne football team. Somebody will always be saying something that you feel is over the line. The OC is all about opinions.....foolish & wise ones.
Consider yourself lucky that Team Buttlicky have mostly left this forum.....your request to drop a subject would have touched off a debate over everything from spanking incident cover-ups to amateur video production.
Good luck to you, your son and the Cats.......We'll all be Cat fans about week 12.

    Jaco...
What about Harris from Norwayne? Has the D1 size....might not be as long as you think.

    On the Playoffs...
D4....Norwayne will get there. How far can they go? A regional title repeat?
I am hearing Columbus Hartley is the rock everyone will break themselves on this year...any thoughts?
BLOODYS PROJECTION: week 13 or 14 regional finals or final 4.

oh...and Northwestern, decent chance to get in, not a threat IMO to go far. My reasoning is they have no kicking game, don't return punts and aren't well versed enough to stop the dink-dunk short passing game they are sure to eventually face.
BLOODYS PROJECTION: week 11 defeat....2013 will be their year.

D5...Hillsdale, another pretty good shot at the show. A dry field and Mager being able to get the corner will dictate their fortunes.
BLOODYS PROJECTION: week 11 defeat....opponent will force them to pass.

disclaimer: NWN & HILL are good teams....making the playoffs is a great honor. no disrespect intended because I think they'll both lose early if they qualify.
NOR is a really good team, once again, no disrespect intended....I just have a feeling Hartley is a great team that will be able to get QB pressure while covering 4 or 5 receivers.

and finally....all projections and opinions are subject to change in case I'm wrong:D
Dont forget Clinton-Massie I hear they are stronger then Bishop Hartley!!

They will be pissed after Friday too....not gonna happen. I would be more worried about the Smithies throwing the L to the cats.

Cats will beat the Smithies by more points then the Huskies will beat Da Bears, if they even beat Da Bears.......

    I don't think so son.

I have been reading this forum for a long time and after finally figuring out how to register I thought I would post. Our husky boys are playing well and I have never seen a more determined bunch of young men then this group of young men are. We are not looking ahead but one cant help to think about how Norwayne is just 3 weeks away and our boys are still upset about how they ran up the score on us last year. The cats are good there is no doubt about it, but the Huskies are good to and we are hungry, very hungry. As far as the Bears upsetting us.....well, good luck with that boys.

    GO HUSKIES!!

Nice to see there is a WCAL player up for Player of the Week over on JJ:

    *Bailey Breitenstine, Doylestown Chippewa
Freshman QB made the most of his first career start by throwing for two TDs, running for two TDs and returning an interception for a TD as the Chipps snapped a 29-game losing streak with a 38-22 win over Waynedale.

That would be a real bummer if that happens. The chipps are really the only local team thAt has to deal with that nonsense.
It would be very big for the bulldogs to be able to grab a couple wins the next to weeks vs the bears and chipps and go into week 10 with some momentum vs smithville and just see what happens. The smithies will obviously be favored, but i don't know if you put the smithies at the bottom of the good teams in the league this year or the top of the bad ones. I'm getting ahead of myself anyway. Looking forward to seeing if anyone can trip up the cats the last couple weeks although I don't expect it.

This was a pretty good post till the Norwayne ran up the score last year part. They probably could have scored a 100 if they wanted.....but they didn't. Yes, you are playing well and week 10 is coming. Good Luck

Your avatar antics are cute, but stick with your "score running up cats" and watch out for Hillsdale....don't get upset when the hand you a week 9 loss (eerily familiar to last years week 9), If you win that game, the hangover will let Northwestern march to victory in week 10 (like Hillsdale should have last year):p

What are everyone's thoughts on this week's games?

    Smithville @ Norwayne
    Northwestern @ Waynedale
    Dalton @ Chippewa
    Hillsdale @ Rittman

I'm thinking the most competitive games could be Dalton @ Chippewa and Smithville @ Norwayne. How much of a difference will new freshman QB Bailey Breitenstine mean to the Chipps?

I see three slaughters and a "dog" fight. I don't see this Smithie team being able to hang with the 'Cats this year.

Dalton has shown some promise. I see them taking it to the Chipps, but it will be the closest game.

Rittman and Waynedale will be who they've been for most of this year.

This Huskie team looks sort of familiar to me. I think it is very similar in size and skill to the Bulldogs in our '08 and '09 seasons. Not huge, but strong, and very fast. Dalton pulled a few upsets those years and I am not surprised about Hillsdale. I think more of the same may be coming yet this season from West Salem. Good luck to them!
The goal for my Dawgs this week is to NOT overlook Chippewa coming off a win, they will certainly be hungry for more! And continue to work on the basics...tackling in particular, and on pass defense. If we can take care of those things we can possibly win out the season and certainly improve our record over last year. This team has no selfishness but needs to be a more cohesive unit. I see good things developing as the season continues.

Everyone seems to have fled over to discuss the un-Bearable situation at the Creek. Anyone left to talk WCAL football?

Absolutely, revenge will be oh so sweet for the defending state champs this week... :p
