What i liked is how the seniors stepped up and took control of there team from Hughes to Patton all the way to rushton. I even seen Ja'les walk up to Reyes and congratulated him on the QB sneak at the end. that's what was missing from this team... Leadership. and it all started last week. I admit i almost gave up on this tea, and washed it as another coaching learning lesson. but wow just wow. the intensity these kids have built inside. From the Fist pumps to the high fives from the seniors to the sophomores. This team has everything we been waiting for in 20 years. Speed size strength defence and a qb that nobody knew we had but a few of us. I called it wit Reyes. I seen this kid light it up at that 7vs7 passing scrimmage. But where did this beautiful playbook come from. how come Zetts only brings this out in big games??? if you git it us it. But on another note the bad things.. Dropped passes and those horrid fumbles got to stop. the score could have been in the 60's if we didn't fumble and drop those passes that could have went for a td. Its beautifully ridiculous to know how scary this team could be. we just beat ourselves with mental mistakes and concentration.

Jump to the fourth spot this week. Will drop slightly even with a win because Springfield Local and Columbiana play each other in week 9. Big points in that game. South Range vs Crestview will be big game. Maybe South Range can pull off the upset. Southern Local will drop out of the top 8 even with a win next week. Not enough points to support them. They needed to beat Western Reserve last week.

    Great win Red Devils!

Now on to Newton Falls. Win and you clinch a share of the league title and position yourself for another playoff berth. Need a good week of practice. Need to get better. Clean up the mistakes. Need to catch the damn interceptions! Need to quite coughing up the ball. Need to continue to stick together. Need to beat Newton Falls!

In my opinion take in the victory and enjoy it, but tonight at midnight, just like the losses... Let it go.

Newton Falls for a league title. One hundred percent focus. And yes defensive backs... You are allowed to catch the ball!!!

As for Cochran.... I am hoping for something less traumatic then suicide watch for young Nicholas. Maybe a case of Diahrrea.

I laugh at this!! But hey what ever helps you sleep at night Coach. here is a quote from Mr Coachran from the vindicator...

“Take nothing away from Campbell Memorial because they played an excellent game. I just don’t know if we could have played any worse and still been in the game,” said Girard coach Nick Cochran.

Did someone forget to tell him Campbell game them 4 free tds??? and Campbell played so sloppy that 5 turnovers should have put Campbell packing week 11. its amazing how he really thinks this is true. If Campbell didn't Fumble 5 times this would have been a embarrassment to Girard. But i have read some post on other Forums and the Girard fans seem to be very disappointed by there team in how they handled themselves during he game and very much after the game. I have a few friends from girard and it seems they are a classy bunch. they didn't take anything away from Campbell.
