Northwest vs New Philly
-
BrutusThe Indians are coming to tusc county. New Philly has a beautiful stadium with a turf field. speed kills and the Indians have a ton of speed ill take Northwest in this game. Northwest is putting some serious points up, this will be a huge computer points game for the winner
-
wes_mantoothPhilly hung in there with Cambridge better than I thought they would, but I think northwest handles the very young quakers
-
fpfpdadchhI am liking Northwest's chances in this one, also. Should be a slobberknocker, as New Philadelphia will not go down easily. A lot of tradition there. I know that Dover has a great rivalry with New Philadelphia. When I went to school at Barberton in the mid 70's we played them the first scrimmage of the year and they definitely hit you hard.
-
NWIndianNation01If we play like we did last night against Padua then I know we can win this game...but if for some ODD reason we decide to spread the ball every single play...then who knows...then it would be a coin toss. However, I don't think we will be seeing that one dimensional offense anymore this season!
LETS GO INDIANS!!! Qill the QUAKERS! hahahaha -
tinman 36New Philly loves to run that quick little back, but they throw enough to keep you honest. Lets go boys, make it 4 in a row. Wasnt the last time we played at new philly a playoff game against licking vally?
-
Mrs.MustangI was ridin the Quakers pretty hard before the Cambridge game, but they hung in there and played a tough game. The Cambridge pass TD was questionable to say the least.No. 5 found the going a little harder against the Cats,I expect Northwest to be just as tough. The players and fans from Canal Fulton seem to love playing in Philly, not a good sign for the Quakers.I hope they can keep it close.

just_a_swimmerPhila needs to get better on special teams. They are giving up too much yardage on KO returns and punts. Need those extra points as well. I am looking forward to this one. I've never seen NW play. Go Quakers
-
believerGo Quakers!

Drums of WarDid we not also play Poland down there in the playoffs? Memory is a bit fuzzy. I hope that little back can take a hit, because our boys laid some serious wood on Padua. BTW, Philly, could you ask your kids to smack our guys around a bit in the first couple of plays? I am a big fan of the results! Here is to more balance and hard hitting like we saw last week. I am looking forward to seeing what theese speedsters look like on the fast track. If your ST are having a hard time in coverage, here is a little hint. Don't kick it deep. I have been impressed with our return game.
-
tinman 36The Poland playoff game was at NW, it was either 07 or 08
-
NWIndianNation01I like to hear that the NP special teams need some work...because returns is definitely a strength of NW!

Drums of War
Like I said, a bit fuzzy. So it Was LV that had that big back that ran like a bowling ball downhill. I remembered the stadium and the player, just not the right team!tinman 36;903043 wrote:The Poland playoff game was at NW, it was either 07 or 08 -

Hey...I just noticed I am a "Senior Member" - ain't that the truth. I'm thinking I may have to change my name to Arthritis and Gray Hair. In another thread someone mentioned all the elderly faithful that populate Crater Stadium every week - I was P R O U D ! -
BrutusLicking valley can thank there lucky stars that we had kids get hurt in a car accident that week or we would have rock and rolled them. It was a great game as it was but if frankie steen plays in that game we win. Ask dover about #47 frank steen back then.
-
BrutusNew philly the INDIANS ARE COMING.
-
Timberand New Philadelphia is going to the Redskins Wigwam next week in Coshocton.
-
BrutusThe quakers are 3-1 and so are the Indians, this game is carrying major computer points.
-
GoChiefsGotta pull for the Quakers but I think the Indians will just be too much for them.
-
NWIndianNation01Hey New Philly posters, besides special teams, what do you think of the game?
