  Not a bad guess. The Devils are for real. A 10-0 regular season looks real good right now. I don't know anyone in the regular season who can knock them off. Hopefully week 10 will be a barnburner like last year.

  Mineral Ridge is a young team that came into the Campbell game inexperienced and undersized. And Campbell simply took it to them. I was impressed with Campbell's speed on defense. And the defensive front four are very good. I thought Brandon Reyes did a great job after shaking off some early game jitters. Once he settled in, he was fine. Offensively the Red Devils have so many weapons. Ja'les was Ja'les. I would like to see Charles Smith touching the ball now and then from his fullback spot. Shawndale Rey would be the starting tailback for most any team. Somehow, some way, he needs to get into the mix more on offense. Something tells me Coach Sikora will find a way to make that happen. I liked the couple of plays where Ja'les lined up at QB with Reyes moving to wide receiver. That formation will give defenses another thing to worry about. Good job in week one. Next up is South Range in North Lima next Friday night. Focus fellas.

  I agree with the posing crap. Campbell was the better team and did not need to do that! Does Sikora have control of this team or not? I know when we were in Ridges' place not too long ago we all would have been pissed off if a team did that to us! I hope that Sikora can clean it up because I am not sold on this team like so many on here. I will make judgement when they face adversity.

  I agree with the posing stuff.. I was not very happy with that. but you know how this group works. But they wont do it again I'm sure of it. Coach wont deal with it.. The first period i don't know how to put it. They just looked like they got over excited and looked real nervous. But as soon as they got there bearings they went off. Is it me or does Ja'les look faster then last year? Anyone notice this or is just me? Defence is very impressive as they should have. Last year they would have probably gave up 14! They just look like they are gonna be a pain to score against. Next week is going to tell you how the season goes. But i have a feeling!!!!!!! And i really thought the crowd was DEAD!!!!!!!!! But first game.. we seem to wake up at away games .... Lets_go i thought that was a nice Touch adding Scooter famous Phrase to kick things off. I don't think people caught it...
  
  Oh and one more thing .. See they are not a Machine they can bleed... Most will know what im talking about... Wink Wink.. And they Bled real bad last night.

  I am cautiously optimistic that this could be a very good year. As I mentioned in previous posts, how well this team handles adversity will determine a lot of things. There is no question that this team is loaded with talent. But eventually they will face some adversity and we'll see how well the kids handle it. How well they do or don't can make or break the season. Senior leadership is still a concern for me. The NFL celebration crap has to stop now.

  Armstrong Cable was there filming the game for broadcast on Armstrong Conmunity Channel 20. The cameraman wasn't sure of when it would air though.
  
  Also, heard that Campbell Memorial @ Brookfield promises to be such an exciting contest that it will be the MyYTV High School Football....GAME OF THE WEEK!!! (Chad K voice lol)

  I say we worry about getting better and South Range this week. I wouldn't worry about the team the rushed for 400 yards and still lost! That team will wipe the field with us right now. We are not as tough.

  Ursuline. And from my perspective, any thoughts of an Ursuline-Campbell playoff matchup should be put on the back burner. Focus on the task ahead this coming Friday against a disciplined and well coached team in South Range.

  Oh absolutely. I thought he meant Brookfield for a second, but I agree totally, this is a day to day process. Theres no guarantee either team even makes the playoffs, worry about the next game and nothing else.

  I think we can take ridge.. If this is truly a better defence!! And East beat a good team and we beat East and could have ran the score up on Ridge also. we could have put a score in right before half time and pulled the first string out mid 3rd. could have been real messy for Ridge. If we get a win like this next week although i don't expect a shut out and a lot closer game though we should be good to go. As long as the Posing boys keep there heads on straight and don't get any unnecessary penalties.

  Liberty should be 1-9 if they are lucky this yr East simply ran power I all night not one pass play and gave it to liberty. South Range should be a little bigger of a test but i still like campbell 35-14
