People are bashing Big Red like somehow they are responsible for the actions of a grown man.

I don't remember anyone bashing Benedictine when the Ray Williams fiasco went down...and he and the others were IN high school when that happened. Hmmm, wonder why?

But when someone does something GOOD after they graduate from Big Red, then it's talked about all the time. And of course, it's brought up time and time again that such person was a Big Red graduate. As said above, you can't have it just one way. You gotta take the good with the bad.

If this thread was titled Steubenville Big Red Great Zach Collaros on Watch List for O'Brien Award...would your panties still be in a bunch?

I remember when the Williams story came out . It was in the paper . They were trying to rob a drug dealer with a plastic gun and the drug dealor had a real gun and shot a couple of the players from Benny . There were like 3 or 4 involved and they were still in HS . I think alot of the stink from that was they were all in private school under free scholarship ... I think the big issue with that was . your average public servant or mill worker kills hiself to get his daughter or son into private school ,while if you can carry the ball like those guys you can get in no matter how bad the charachter of the young person is .. in public schools they have to take everybody no matter who they are . they can be the dregs of society doesnt matter . Williams Blew his scholarship to Michigan ,but he got a second chance at Toledo . I think he messed that up too .. the stories are a little different . Branko has been out of HS for 3 years .. but he is a Big Red alum so if you want to judge us as a whole go ahead . makes no differance to me . He is still part of the Big Red family good or bad . Ill never say he isnt .

Who would make a thread like that? lol.... Guys on here celebrating the fall of a former Big Red great are kinda sad to me . I mean this is what you have to resort to because our Big Red teams have destroyed so many of your teams dreams ... its ok If our school were Dover,Indian Creek ,Logan,Zanesville, any Cleveland public school with the exception of Glenville,so on and so on .nothing would be said in any forum because nobody would care .. It all comes with the territory . I accept it . i just think its pretty sorry to celebrate this stuff

Misery loves company and some people love misery . they feed off of it . enjoy is all i can say

I distinctly remember back when we WAS in high school calling him out for being a dirty player and taking some cheap shots in some games I saw, and I had the Big Red faithful relentlessly telling me how wrong I was and how he was such a good kid and a class act.

Hey genius, try to keep up. There is nothing wrong with celebrating the good things, but when bad things happen, expect it to come back as well. How hard is that to comprehend? Oh wait, I forgot who I was talking to. Love to get a rise out of Big Red people? Nah, just you. Because you go on rants that make no sense and look like they've been typed by a 3rd grader. It's fun to watch. It's great making you get so defensive. That's why I, and probably most, do it.

You've yet to show me where I've 'celebrated' this young man doing something like this. Still waiting....

LMAO. Still waiting on you to show me where anyone is celebrating anything...especially me. Can't do it? That's what I thought. Just more of your B.S.

What is your point? I heard that Branko was a nice young guy . He seemed like it to me when I saw him . As far as being a dirty player .. I dont know about that ,but Inside linebackers are usually the crazy type no matter what team they play for ,so ill just pass that one off .The young guy obviously got with the wrong people and what really stinks is he may be spending a few decades in a cage .. its depressing to me . If it were the same crime in Ohio and he were convicted it would be alot less time . WVA for some reason they lock you up and throw away the key . Granted the mistake appears very serious ,but if it is found out the people he was taking money from were also criminals ,i hope the charges are lessoned ,just like in the Williams case

Doesnt the cake and the file right above you indicate that genious . How about just making this a thread title in the first place . I didnt say you specifically were celebrating anything . you do seem to like to talk about this issue alot and since you are from Logan ,I just find it funny how interested and opinionated you are . you like contoversy . you like argueing ,You like getting the last word in ,You like the tiny power you have on this site . it seems to get you a rush . you dont play by your own rules .. You are the kid with the ball and everybody has to treat you nice or else.. ill be glad to stop talking to you all together . I really dont feel the need to constantly defend myself from you . I wish you would get off this thread because it is of no concern to you .. i know free country or you were a WVA Alum or whatever .

Well genius (spell it right next time), I don't see where he is celebrating anything. He posted a picture to get the defensive Big Red posters panties in a bunch. Guess what, it worked!

You're a liar too. This is from your post on the other thread....

What the hell does me being from Logan have to do with anything? You didn't go to Indian Creek, but you felt the need to run that thread down didn't you? Again, hypocrite much?

Ahhh, can't take a little debating, so it's the whole "you got the power, blah, blah, blah" schtick. It's teh_interwebz kid, there is no power. Nobody has to treat me nice. If I'm unfair, justin or one of the other mods would chime in. Have you seen that happen? Nope. Make crap up and keep crying.
