What a game and what a call by Brian White to go for two and the lead.

Congrats to Hilliard Davidson on another Championship.

Yea, watching that game, there is no reason why they shouldn't have won big with the talent they had.

Congrats Davidson. Way to represent Central Ohio!!!

I would say there are prob 6 future OSU players starting for Glenville today. Throw in numerous other kids that will get D1 looks.... and well Glenville once again underachieves.

Dude relax no one is knocking Davidson at all. I am from Hilliard and am very proud of the Davidson boys. Just pointing out that Glenville conistantly underachieves for the amount of supposed D1 talent they have year in and year out.

    Some will not like this
Some will say it isn’t so
but this came down to a team believing in it’s coaching staff and believing in itself.
COACHING IN THIS ONE REALLY DID OVERCOME TALENT.

    Awesome win for Davidson.

White proves that he is the best coach in the state.

Are you telling me to relax, I'm the lazy boy spokesman son, most people knew how this would turn out, your thoughts have been played and are not needed.

Davidson played pretty consistent throughout this game. But Glenville was one penalty and one dropped pass away from routing Davidson in this game.

No doubt Davidson is a tough team. They beat a hell of a lot of good football teams to get to the championship. What a game!

Relax some of you ppl. Ginn, Sr. takes kids and makes them better men!! Some kids that might not get thru HS without football, and his mentoring!! Coach White gambled and won, twice. He is indeed a great coach. There is NO need to say Ginn, Sr. cant win a big one, or gets outcoached. He makes a difference with those kids. Congrats to HD! Lay of the Ginn bashinng.

You obviously don't know anything about football. Two calls from a route? This is the best type of game of all. David beats Goliath, no shock for anyone that saw the 06 game. Davidson is better..............period.

Someone read my post from the beginning of the discussion on this game. He is the reason I picked Hilliard. You almost knew his team wouldn't win the game--it's not like it's the first time he SHOULD have won the title. He's amazing at what he does and great for his kids but when it comes to X's and O's he's far from special.

Congrats to Davidson, glad to see you win because as a community I'm sure you really needed this right now.

And Davidson was two fumbles away from blowing out Glenville. Neither team played a perfect game, Hilliard made one more play.

Maybe you should stop being so defensive and realize most people are complementing davidson. Here let me put it this way...... if you switched the two teams and coaching staffs and gave White the Glenville kids and Ginn the Davidson kids, this would have been a 14 point win for White.

What we are trying to say is that Glenville was far superior in terms of raw talent but davidson played as a TEAM and White outcoached Ginn.

Congrats to Davidson. 2 in 4 years is not too bad at all. I would put in a vote for Davidson as program of the decade.

^^no, I'm talking about the 98 yard TD that was called back for penalty, and the slant pass to Bryant that was dropped. Either one of those plays would have changed this game.

edit..crap, you guys respond fast. I'm not saying Davidson got lucky. I'm responding to the statements about Ginn Sr.

I'll agree with this. Fortunately talent, important as it is, isn't the number one factor in playing winning football. Never has been.

To a degree he appears to get a bum rap. Are there better game coaches? Sure. Is the team some kind of disorganized train wreck? Not at all.

In addition to the QB, that #14 is a hell of a lot of football player.

Maybe you should take your advice and shove it....no, I will not play nice, don't make excuses for an inferior team. Davidson is a better team, better talent, hence they have 2 titles in the last 4 years.
Great year Glenville, see you next year.

Wow. What a game! Was the game played perfectly by either team? Far from it. But I definitely enjoyed the game. It was an instant classic at the end. I do feel bad for Glenville. They had an awesome season and played their hearts out. Both teams deserved to win. Congrats to Davidson on never giving up!
