Umm "super silly"? What are you a 12 year old girl?Viking wrote: Congrats to Erick Howard!
Your guy didn't even make the finals list! This award includes many factors. Howard has overcome a lot in his life to achieve all of his success on the football field. He is the ALL TIME LEADING RUSHER in Stark County and that is quite an achievment. He meant more to his team than almost any other player in the state. Take your guy off of your team and somebody else still gain at least 1,000 yards with that line and those plays. Also, please take the Traficant pic away. It makes you look super silly and ignorant.
Are you really trying to rub it in my face that your team only has one good player? Man you really got me that Mooney plays as a team and wins as a team without need for individual accolades? -
RedRider1I think All-Ohio and Mr. Football have been mailed in the past several years....is it just me or does this coincide with the fact that newspapers all over the nation are failing and cutting staff?
Maybe the voters are less informed as papers cut dedicated high school "beat" reporters.....and it shows in the selections. Far too many deserving kids left off....and too many "names" from previous seasons or kids from "name" schools getting selected. -
Al BundyToday just showed another reason why they shouldn't even name this award until after the season is over. Why would you give an award away before the most important game of the season is played?

Crimson_Streakif the award went to the most important player to his team then Heath jackson should have got the award. he was the states leading receiver before his qb got hurt, and then steps in at QB and was lights out.
