Yes, I am jealous that you can open recruit on the field, in other people's stadiums, on the internet, and by other means... Honestly, I do not give a rats *ss. Thats whats going to make it so much better when you fall.
Hip Hop, I love your dedication. Thats what its going to take. Myself and many others have been put down, reduced, and attacked. I won't stand for it anymore. Sorry, but the internet is just that. Anyone can be a big man on here and ALL I care about is the next Redskin victory. Lets get focused on Weir... What do you think this new coach has in store? Can he develop the talent and the speed that Weir has to offer or will they once again crumple to the Skins on their home turf?
It's gonna take a little bit of time before Weir can get things back on track. The Redskins have a Solid O-line returning this year and IMO that spells a bigger beat down than last year at Kettewell...2011 is going to be great year for the Redskin Nation!!! Can't wait to kick things off in late August, I have a feeling Wintersville is about to get their Football Swagger BACK!!! -

Read your posts. I don't have to say anything. -
reddevil90Ok to keep this on track of a Indian Creek thread. I Am high on creek this year. i have followed many teams over 23 years. and i can tell what they will be like just from watching the 8Th and 9Th grade teams. and both 8Th and 9Th grade just crushed the other teams. they didn't lose and that says a lot. the 9Th grade team was just crazy on offense. and very very solid D. just need to keep the grades up and stay together. Make a pact to stay the course. this should be a very very good year at Creek. as long as the coach allows some 10Th graders to play.

icredskinsFirst passing scrimmage of the off-season is set for June 17th against CCHS. I have no other information as far as place and time. I've been told that CCHS has NEVER had a passing scrimmage under Bahen. Glad to see Dailey is changing some of the philosophy over there.

ThinthickbigredI know this is a dead horse but It would be nice to see IC and Steub Central play Its a shame that we have 3 high school in a 6 mile radius and none play each other .. Those were such great rivalries ...Even when Wintersville and Central played before the Big Red Wintersville series began I used to go to those games as a kid every year ..Great atmosphere

Creek already plays 6 Schools thatt are at least 1 Division lower than them (Buckeye 8). It would be hard to justify another. -

You IC guys can keep on wishing and praying that Big Red will some how go down the tubes, but that still wouldn't help IC.
Big Red has some outstanding classes coming up, so sit back and watch another great run getting started.
Redevil90, I went to YSU with a lot of Campbell people, and trust me Big Red is wayyyy more similar to Campbell Memorial than Indian Creek will ever be.
How is that they are more similar? Then you never heard of the red devils. Then you never knew enough people from Campbell. Red Devils are a small school much like most small schools. Campbell went from being the best in the Youngstown are for many many years. Dominated the mid 80's till 93. they where the most feared team in the 20's till the 70's then they went and lost a bunch of games and they were all the sudden a team searching for that one win that would turn it around. Campbell went on to if I'm correct and I'm 95% sure it was a 27 or 29 game skid. they broke that skid by beating undefeated carnal Mooney in the last game of the year. then it slowly got back on track n the 80's and then again we dominated the div 3 playoffs and area teams like Mooney Ursuline. had some of the best backs to ever and still to come out of the Youngstown area. then Campbell's coach rozum retired from football and we went on to become a joke of the city. starting in 94 when yes big red destroyed us at death valley. now the devils are back and even beat Martins ferry first round last year. so don't think that you will never falter. it happens to every single team. and it will happen. you guys could not beat one Ohio team last year. that says a lot. -
reddevil90One more thing. My Son starts Lifting this Friday. He is very Eligible to play. Coach text him and told him to get his butt here and lift Friday cause you will be playing on Friday nights.

I won't be able to get to that one, If anyone goes, let me know the details. -

Very good news. -
ThinthickbigredWho gives a crap about Campbell Memorial anyway Toronto should have beaten them a few years ago ...Speaking of T Town them and IC should be a game .. Wintersville and Toronto played each other all the way up to the early 70's .. both schools lost enrollment but I think that would be a heck of a matchup .. It seems all of IC's biggest opponents other than Edison are all Belmont county schools .. No more Big Red or Central on the schedule I propose you guys get this game it would be a toss up and it would be a good gate at either place.. That makes sense

Thats good news, I hope he can keep up his grades this year. Just tell him if he is having trouble to go to Coach K or Coach D and they will help him. They are two of the best people to have in your school, anywhere. -
Home12reddevil90,
Lets just make your son Ohio Mr. Football today. Especially since he will only have to play against the weak*** Buckeye 8, he'll probably gain 3,000 yards behind Creek's outstanding O-line. Make room on your mantle. -

Wow look who got mad. Toronto had no chance at all. And Campbell is expected to meet up with Ursuline in the Regionals this year. and want the truth who the hell cares about Big red. Big Red is a product of area school. So you should thank the Area schools for all your success Sir! And don't be disrespectful man. Take a chill pill and lighten up bro. its just a game not! Don't be a tool Homes. Wow struck a cord with you. Giggity. Oh and at least Indian Creek can beat Ohio teams Bud, -
reddevil90
Ah he is not a Running back. Homes. He is primarily a run blocker and Defence. And i never ever said he is all Ohio like everyone of the kids your school recruits. But its nice you took interest in him. Oh and his mantle is got a few trophies from playing On the Titans. And it would be very hard for someone that is 228Lbs and kinda flat footed to gain 200 yards in one season.Home12;797136 wrote:reddevil90,

If you read my posts they are directed towards IC. You are the one who comes on here spewing 8th grade rhetoric You guys beat Toronto 20-14 and they were winning 14-13 and turned the ball over and you scored late .. Campbell is irelevant to me they really are .. They are a has been .. Yes IC can beat Ohio teams ,so I guess that Big Red cant ? man that hurtsreddevil90;797187 wrote:Wow look who got mad. I'm talking about the make up of the towns, both old steel towns, the diversity of the student body, the type of kids (the ones I knew were just like Big Red kids, which is why we got along), the long storied history, the stadiums, and even the school colors.reddevil90;796436 wrote:How is that they are more similar? BTW, Big Red also played Campbell up there in 95...I loved that old stadium, but I've heard the new one was very nice too. -

Just to set you straight. Big Red had 90 years of success before Open Enrollment started, so don't let the bitter Indian Creek fans fill your head with their lies. OE started at the beginning of the 2000's. Before that Big Red was STILL number 3 alltime in Ohio for wins....STILL had a D2 state titles, with 2 runnerups....STILL had over 600 victories....STILL had 8 region titles.
BTW, I heard that the IC QB this year is from Central...so any success he has will be credited to CCHS by your reasoning. -
Hip Hop/Logicbomb@ ManO'War
Please go to a Big Red thread...you know how this is always going to end, but you cannot help yourself at every turn to chest beat right? Once again this is a Indian Creek 2011 thread...for all who keep bringing up that school down by the River...please stop!!!!!...it only brings their "MUPPET" fanbase onto a ICHS thread to cast insults at you...thats what they do best down their.....so either ignore them or just don't mention "the school down by the river", and maybe for once we can have a decent ICHS Football thread. -
ManO'WarI never comment on IC unless Big Red is brought into the conversation and someone alerts me to it.
I think IC people are OBSESSED with Big Red.
Truthfully, no one that I know cares one bit about Indian Creek...even when we played them no one talked about them..except for how pathetic they were.
So I'm sorry I broke up your Red Skin Party. -

I am not trying to rain on your parade, Creek will be lucky to win 6 games this year. Every year they predict a more improved and dominate team that will make a run at the playoffs, every year there is disappointment and excuses such as the flu, injuries, and bad field conditions.
Your son may be a good player and have a chance to play varsity in a couple years but Creek has had many athletes like your son come up in the program only to fall short of the expectations that are placed on them, because of coaching and their lack of knowledge when it pertains to helping a kid excel to his fullest potential. Why is it that the 8th and 9th grade teams always dominate but when them same kids get to varsity they seem to stop and become non existent? My opinion is the coaching and nothing will ever change at Creek as long as the current coach is in charge. You have one of the better coaches in the school and possibly in the area coaching in the junior high program, maybe he should move to the varsity and your current coach should move down to the junior high and see how fast the varsity turns things around. Creek is never lacking talent when it comes to players and anyone that uses that as an excuse is just dead wrong and knows nothing about football. There is nothing wrong with being supportive of your team and having hope for them but sometimes you have to face facts and make the changes required to fix the wrong. Like I said I am not here to bash your son or any other kid , I do hope that everything works out for him, sometimes sports are the one thing that keeps a kid going forward and give them a reason to excel in school. -

Is this not a ban-able offense? Singling out a specific player based on their parents post? Come on Chief... do your job and warn him. -

"REALITY HAPPENS..."
You guys are obsessed with recruiting and will stop at nothing to turn "just one single fan" by spreading your spooge all over every local teams threads. Don't give me that bull about "someone posted on my thread... This is me standing up for big red" because you think your above everyone else... Same mentality of big red. We post on your threads because we are tired of our kids being stolen to the promise of state championships and D1 scholarships. They can do, and have done just as good where they are and you not only hate it, but you let eat you away into a bitter little red yuppie that can't stand to see someone reject his almighty holier than thou school... Guess what buddy... Your not a state champion anymore and havent been for 5 years. You wanna talk your smack and recruit? Win another on without the "area" kids. You did it once in the 80's... Do it again.
