  Kudos to Buchtel on a fine effort today and on a wonderful season.
  
  Watterson's D was quicker and faster than I expected. They stayed home and it paid off. I was impressed with their QB. Their passing attack was better than I thought it would be.
  
  The Griffs finished the season 1-1 in Massillon. They came up a little short today, but they burned the Paper Tigers on their home field.

  The game was over around 5, It took you THIS long to find your way back to Akron from Massillon? Or were you just dreading going back? I know I would have.
  
  Remember, Buchtel lost twice today, once on the field of play, and then when they had to return to Akron.

  Yes, what a shame. Returning to Akron. A town with a wonderful university. The world headquarters of Goodyear Tire. New construction all around town. Yes, I'd much rather be in Masillon. It is The Land that Time Forgot. It looks like a 1950's town minus jobs. Talking about the past is fun, but living there is counter productive and a sign of a need for therapy.

Jones is a very good straigh ahead runner out of the QB spot and good at short and medium range passes. They also use the wildcat formation sometimes. They have 3-4 RB's. All with above average speed. They don't really have a big bruising straight ahead RB, but Oden does prettry weel on inside runs. Smith (WR) is a budding star. Ohio State is looking at him now. He is a JR. He has burner speed, excellent hands and very good leaping ability to go along with some strength. He took a ball away from a Marlington defender last week and scored a TD. His other TD came a circus style catch. Another WR is the defending D II or D III state 100 and 200 meter champ. He has ok hands. They get the ball to him on reverses, pitches/tosses, and throws. When he gets in space it is almodt a sure TD.
  
  Their D is extremely fast as a team. They fly to the ball and gang tackle. They have scored 13 TD's on defense. Nobody has had much success throwing deep on they. Counters, short passes and play action passes are your best bet along with a straight ahead ground attack. Nobody has been able to run outside or attack the edges in any way really against them this season. They are undersized on the line (light really) but lightening quick. Most teams have had a very difficult time blocking them.

  You left out their kicking game. Wait; Buchtel does not have one.

  They Buchtel like Big Red needs to work on kicking game ..We never kick field goals for some reason and it hurts us in big games like Massillon and Dover and Ursulin ...I saw Akron against PCC they had two punts blocked that killed them ....I knew they were a good team though .... Alot more will be seen of them

  Yes yes, Akron is quite the thriving metropolis. Let's put it this way, I'd walk around any part of Massillon after midnight....would you do the same in Akron.

  Massillon is probably safer than Akron. Crime is usually pretty low if there isn't anything of value to steal. Those paper titles just aren't worth much anymore.

  Im sorry to have to say this,,,,,, But it wasnt the kicking game that lost it for Big Red this year against Massillon.

  I have two words for you, "PROVE IT". My family has been a part of the Watterson community since the school opened. It is amazing that you know of "recruits" that Watterson plays with and I don't. And no, they do not accept vouchers either. I don't know for a fact about any other school public or private, but I will tell you right now you are wrong about Bishop Watterson High School. And until you do prove it please refrain from including us with every other private school in the state that you obviously have first hand knowledge of.
