I showed you nothing but facts very early on and you either completely ignored them or said that they were merely "smoke and mirrors arguments."

Don't like mud slinging and name calling...and then turn around and call posters girls. LOL. Thanks for showing again that you're just a huge hypocrite.

And you're already starting. Once the multiplier hits, and the good schools keep winning, you're already to keep whining for more changes!

You cry like a little b whenever you are called out but you turn around and do the same thing. What a hypocritical joke. A little advice take a few writing classes at Jefferson Comm college.

The kids at Southview have beat private schools and feel as if the can beat any team that is put in front of them. Maybe it's the High School that they go to that gives them this non victim mind set we are 2-1 against private schools and when we played for the title in 2008 we blanked a private school to get there. So we will not change our mind set because we don't view ourselves as a poor little school district that needs help to make a run. Our boys will just strap up and play ball. Once again the small school titles will be won by the MAC hands down. You are just focusing on a few schools that have been powers for years that come from an area that has had some of the best football in Ohio for years. When you close 4 High Schools where are the kids going to go? Some parents are going to send their kids to Chaney and the new East while others have moved to Liberty, Poland, Canfield, Austintown, Boardman, Hubbard, and Girard. If you look at some of the names on the Ursuline or Mooney rosters of the kids that came from the inner city a lot of their parents were the star athletes at South, Rayen, East, Chaney, or North. You cannot tell me that the make up of the aformentioned teams has not changed due to the plight of the Youngstown Public Schools as well as the violence within the city. Do I think that a change needed to be made of course I do. But you and a few others are hoping that the private schools are pushed out of it all together would be watering the system down and our boys don't want it. How does Ursuline and Mooney get the best athletes in a large area? How are Poland, Fitch, Canfield, Boardman, Hubbard, and Campbell successful then? Mooney has been good always while Ursuline was decent but there was a huge shift when Rayen closed and now you have the Ursuline of today. How is that answer for ya?

Thicheadbigred what is your answer to the above?

    I don't sling mud nor have I.

Here's a point that has merit...with continuous budget constraints that seem to have no end in the educational system there is great value in eliminating all athletic budgets and permitting athletics to become club teams. Schools do not exist to educate our children but rather are simply a tool to be used by families in the educational process. As a tool they need not nor should they be expected nor even required to provide all facets of prep school education. These club teams can be funded by the respective communities just as they are now only separate of the school's themselves.

If it is deemed that sports competition must stay in the educational system there's really no need to have multiple divisions at all. The educational component of athletics can be achieved with one division just as well as multiple. This would solve all recruiting, multiplier and transfer issues with one fell swoop.

I think, and probably shouldn't speak for him, but it may have been based on the content of posts as opposed to skin color. It's just a guess.

I made a refrence about Ursulin and having over half the team being black but the student body, band and fans were almost all white . This was way back in the threads and he set me up to put it out there and I did because I am not afraid to talk about race . He then called me all kinds of names and tried to make me out to be something that is completely opposite of me which showed his rush to judgment and ignorance .. I didnt forget and I will bring it up

Yet you still avoid to answer my question. Yes I have seen the field played TE/DE so I doubt if you would have buried me. But what does that have to do with anything?

    Exactly regardless of skin color.

    I have suggested this before:

Division I-III private schools play in Division I.
Division IV-VI private schools play in Division II.

Let them play the schools with bigger numbers.
  • rmolin73
OrvilleQB that is still punishing programs for the success of a few. In Toledo we have Toledo Christian and Cardinal Strich both don't even compete at D5-D6. Then you have Fostoria St. Wendelin look up their situation and see if they can even play D6 which they couldn't this year when they had to cancel the majority of their season.
