Every team on Big Red's schedule is beatable. Don't forget, we beat Massillon rather soundly in 2009. And we have an overall winning record against Ursuline. The other Ohio team I know we're playing in 2011 is East Liverpool.

Sorry about the wife jokes coyotes.I'm just now getting over the Dover loss and I needed a little humor to get things started again.Fairwood the E.L. game should be a good game.Big Red will be lucky to beat Massillon again.I'm going to savor the one we did pull out. When someone says a team was one play away from winning or being back in it,I believe that was Massillon at our place in 2009.I just don't think soundly winning decribes the victory very well.Sorry Fairwood I disagree.

We finally agree on something!!! :D

Whether we "soundly" beat them is not really an issue. The point is that we beat them in a year when they won their region. It goes down as one of the better wins that Big Red has ever had.

What does beating Massillon in 2009 have to do with Big Reds schedule in 2011? "And we have an overall winning record against Ursuline"....What's your point?

Reno proof reads every post before they are allowed to post on here. That's the Big Red way.

Your right Fairwood in my short time as a fan(14 years)it has to be top 5 that I have witnessed.Skank and coyotes why do you think I left my wife with the car at our little meet and greet in Massillon? She is the real Skank.I didn't want to be teased about how you had your way with her.She would of turned both of you out anyways.

If you were paying any attention at all (which you weren't), you would know that I was responding to someone who asked what beatable teams from Ohio are on Big Red's 2011 schedule. I said all of them are beatable. We're not intimidated by anybody. In recent years we have beaten Massillon, Mooney, Ursuline, Akron SVSM, Watterson, Dover, DeSales, Alter, and Poland, just to mention a few. We can do the same thing in 2011.

I think some of you Steubenville people are letting some of these other clowns convince you that you had a down year, well, maybe you did, by Steubenville standards, but most of these other people would kill for an 8-3 record and yet another playoff appearance. An "off year" can get you to wondering if you'll ever be good again, but let your common sense kick in and you'll be ready for yet another great year. Good luck nine times next year.

It's my best guess that 2011 will be somewhat like 2010-- a good year by anyone else's standards, but an average year for us. But I think we will be major contenders for the state championship in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Our 7th, 8th, and 9th graders did a spectacular job this past season. When they are juniors and seniors, we will have a team to be reckoned with.

I have no idea what we got ..I do know the frosh wewre loaded this year and they had some injued future stars who missed some games ...

I saw the freshmen play Canton McKinley. They looked terrific! In a couple of years, we are going to be championship contenders again.

I admire the enthusiasm, but predicting future success based on the results of junior high kids is a fool's errand.

I wish Hoover would play Big Red. Good Luck next year.

We all know Steubenville people dont work!

I think, for me, it's not so much the team or players, that gives me an, EH kind of feeling about Steubenville. But, some/most of all the fans of Big Red, can get a little carried away at times. And I think that the problem with that is this:
Teams and schools like Massillon, Steubenville, Warren Harding, St. Ed have such large fan bases, that they get picked out more. Massillon and Big Red, probably have more loud-mouth obnoxious fans, than some DVI schools have for fans total, period. That is why they get "picked" on more.
But, this is all just my honest opinion.

Winning breads contempt from others . I rather be disliked by many because of winning rather than liked and have a mediocre team ...Alot of us Big Red guys do like to chatter Ill give you that ...

I don't think most hate Big Red b/c of 'winning'. I say that's idiotic if you think that's why. vikingcaptin82 hit the nail on the head why 'most' hate schools such as Big Red. Winning has nothing to do with it.

then what does our whole 2010 schedule have to do with 2011? ... If we have trouble beating Ohio schools then why are #3 in the entire state against Ohio teams ...LOL just keep hating ..

Sure he had some valid points , but larg fan bases come from winning football games ...My point is correct also IMO ..The more you win ,the more headlines you get the more people are gunning for you .

You are correct. 2010 schedule has nothing to do with 2011. I believe you had trouble beating Ohio schools this year... 0-3...remember?
