Nice. I saw a playoff game at Harmon Field a few years back. Is that new turf field and the bleachers at the same location?adog;544183 wrote:Wapakoneta stadium

It would be nice to see the Toledo stadiums (TCC, Whitmer, and Springfield) used for the later rounds but they aren't in a good location as far as the regions go. Fremont, Tiffin, and Findlay are just located better.
Haha, wow. I must have REALLY misread something.
I agree with you though. It's hard to have these stadiums being used later in the playoffs. It all depends on initial seeding and who wins. -

Yes, it's the same exact same stadium just with upgrades. I remember growing up this place being a BIG DUMP. It was pretty much the same basic set up, but the visitor side didn't have the 3 big grand stands, so it was kind of small and everything was WOOD. Not just any wood, but old splinter in your ass wood. They didn't have the temp seating in the endzone/corners either. When they up graded to what you probably witnessed, it was a sigh of relief for everyone else in the WBL. Now they have the nicest stadium in the league HANDS DOWN.... Parking, field, stands, scoreboard.... -

I see you were already given your answer, but just wanted to say , that I have not watched a game in the new digs yet, but everybody I talk to that has, raves about it. Should be a round 2/3 site this year. Not sure of seating capacity but looks like it would be easily enough, especially for D4 or lowerkaren lotz;544233 wrote:Nice. bigkahunaSt. Henry and Coldwater met there last year in DV and was sufficient. I'd guess it holds around 5,000 easily.

bigkahunaPics of round 2 sites? They should be easier to find.

tk421I'm not a fan of tracks around a football field. It makes the seats too far away from the action.

oberhausMost schools can't afford to have seperate facilities...so thats why most have tracks around the field.

JRock211Sheridan built a new Track and Field facility a few years ago. 2-3. It is behind the new High School and Soccer will also be played in that infield. Starting right now our football field will begin remodeling. (No def time) But before next year we will have all new Home / Visitor stands, press box. The stands will get moved back aprox. 10ft. from the field. And then the new turf/ sod will be laid out. It will be a great change but at the same time make it one of the best in the area if not THE best.

In Steubenville there is no track and you are right on top of the action even in the endzone you have very good vision. I sat in the endzone during the Massillon game and the seats were horrible. might have been the design but next time I go there I am buying a seat not general admission. -

No, not yet, 'Woo'...they're all "out of town" looking for next year's quick QB...and getting healthy...and regrouping!Wooball;549863 wrote:I think this is where Big Red will be week #12

Crimson and Gray Hair...and BTW, interesting thread topic. We get to sit in some really poor visitor stands in a couple of the ECOL stadiums(corm fields) - see what you're missing with all those dumb home games!

Dude, you have GOT....to be kidding me. How are the endzone seats at Massillon any different than the ones at Steubenville? Massillons seat more and they go higher. -
coyotes22I see Dover had its field crew preparing the grass for round two games:

Just didnt like them no offens.. probably because you hvae a track and it sits back further ....Sometimes Ill sit in the endzone seats at Harding in the visitors section if nobody is there . it is a much better view . I am not making it up ..Its not a big deal anyway . i mean your stadium is one of the greatest ,i was just making a refrence to the endzone seat I had a few weeks ago .. It felt like it was low to the ground even though I was towards the top ...if it were not so crowded I would have sat in a different area ,.... I was also with some lame who rather travel 2 hours and stand down at field level and watch the video screen... LOL......So I was kinda by myself and didnt want to wonder off considering I didnt drive... -

If Bruney ever found out people were on that field in that pic he'd have a heart attack.
Bruney is an idiot when it comes to this field.
