Ohio HS football twitter hashtags?
-
justincredibleIf you know of any hashtags used to report high school football scores around the state please post them here. I'll use them to help promote the site from the OC twitter account.
-
THE4RINGZI don't know what a hashtag is but if it helps promote HS sports on the OC I will pass along anything I find out.
-
justincredibleIt would looks something like this:
#hsfootball
It an easy way to search different topics. Someone puts a hashtag in a tweet and twitter turns it into a link that you can click and get a list of all the recent tweets that also contain that hashtag. Clear as mud? -
THE4RINGZOK I will try to find some.

RedRider1I'd say we should "create" a tag...something like #ohsaa or #OhioHSFootball but that's just extra characters to add to each tweet. Unless you could append each tweet automatically.
I use #fb to sent my tweets to my FB page through the Selective Tweets app.

thePITmanOne of my Droid apps for next year will be to simplify the texting of game updates to other people and to Twitter, etc. It would save me a bunch of time up in the press box on game night.
-
grodtI operate an account called @ohsaa_scores during the playoffs to send score updates out. I'm not sure but I might wait to start it until week 2 just because it's hard to find scores for all the games being played.
-
grodtOn that note, I do know that last year #cincyfb was used for Cincinnati area schools. I'm not sure if that still applies but I thought I'd pass it along.

Yeah, I noticed it was being used.
An #ohiofb tag would be great. -
grodtI can use it if you'd like.
Or you could just follow @ohsaa_scores -

I'll start following you with the OC account. If you've got room I think we should try to start a state wide tag and #ohiofb makes as much sense as any. -
ernest_t_bass#hixacefootball or @hixacefootball
However you say it. -

RedRider1^^Anything you put after the "#" sign will create it's own hashtag and thus, it's own search term.
