Just got this comment left on my blog....

Fostoria St Wendelin cancelled their season due to too many injuries (they started with only 17 players). Their week 10 opponent was to be Upper Scioto Valley who Genoa beat back in week 5. USV replaced St Wendelin with (1-8) Ridgemont. The game is classified on JoeEitel.com as one that will not count in the standings, making Genoa's divisor 99 instead of 100. The comment left on my blog seems to say that the game will count and that Genoa's L2 divisor is 100.

This actually helps Genoa...and may help them secure the #3 spot. If their divisor was 99 and the USV win over Ridgemont doesnt count...I have them with 20.3 points. Now that the game counts, assuming a USV win and everything else the same, they end up with 163.5 2nd level points and 43 1st level points.....or an average of 20.65.

If Orrville beats Wooster and Northwest beats Alliance, the Riders COULD finish with 20.70 points....and that's probably best case scenario.

    Whew....talk about a slim margin.
#3 seed probably gets Triway, #4 seed gets OG.

I see Joe Eitel has USV and Ridgemont with 100% value. When was the last time 2 schools played each other twice during the regular season? I know it happens in playoffs, but don't remember twice in regular season games.

I would guess Tiffin, Fremont, or Huron...not Findlay. Or Ashland...wasn't Genoa vs Orrville there last year?

Correct Genoa vs. Orrville @ Ashland. If not mistaken 36-35 Orrville. Gods team took one on the chin.

Oberhaus, posed this as a question not a statement. I was just providing him the correct answer. If you were on THAT PAID SITE (jjhuddle) last year. All we heard from Genoa fan was how Genoa was gonna stomp a mud hole in Orrville. That there was no way in the world a multiple loss team was even going to come close to beating them. Most of their fans (not all) were talking crap to the fact they were just going to walk in to the state title game and give Alter all they could handle. After all was said and done only 1 Genoa huddler had the guts to come face the music. That is why I refer to them as GOD's Team. So for you to say "Why do you call us God's" team tells me you are Genoa. So the only Routing interest you would have in the Orrville Wooster game is to seek some revenge of what happened last year.

Ha get over it Orrville won. And yeah I think they could have picked a more medium site last year but they prolly figured since Genoa travels so well it would work and we did have pretty much that whole home side full

Make no mistake it's not about revenge, it's a reckoning. Sorry that's my favorite line from the movie Tombstone. The only way you can take revenge on a team is to have the exact same players play again on both teams. These are 2 different teams and a different season and with the other teams lined up in this region it's disrespectful to think it's only about Genoa and Orrville.
  • bwcomet89
Yeah uh no need to bring that up and drag it out for 6 pages again. Those people can keep those opinions and nothing can or will be said to change thoughts. Let the ongoing argument die.

I'm rooting for Wooster not out of revenge but out of seeding.. That'd lock up the 3 seed for Genoa..

I only come read this site once or twice a week and every week I see the same thing with the Orville posters going on and on. You can keep saying how poor the Genoa posters were last year for a game that was played 11 months ago but many of you are making Genoa almost look classy. Yes everyone knows Orville won a hard fought game that came down to a missed extra point a year ago, WE GOT IT. This year it appears Orville has a decent team but may struggle to win a game in the play-offs. Let's see how THIS YEAR pans out between Genoa and Orville. Genoa is not as strong as last year either and let's see if their weak schedule keeps them from progressing in the play-offs like Orville keeps harping.

I don't follow Genoa or Orville but went to watch the play-off game last year to see two good teams go at it. Now a year later I still see Orville constantly bragging about that win yet other teams are not going on and on about last year. Truly classy fans would let the other teams ignorance speak for itself instead of making themselves look bad.

haha oh the good ol Genoa vs Orrville deal again...Actually the Genoa fans this year have been pretty respectful as most of us have moved on. That was last year, and it would be a tossup again if we were to play this year....Genoa would have the advantage though. Good luck this last week comets, not that you will need it. Oh and the Riders could win and you would still be the 3rd seed, so it's ok to root for us once in a while :D

I think before you start talking about ignorance you should at least check the spelling of the team your complaining about. ORRVILLE, you misspelled it not once not twice but seven times.

Top 4 if Orrville beats Wooster on Saturday...

    1. CF
    2. Elyria Catholic
    3. Orrville (20.8 pts) - would play Triway 1st round
    4. Genoa (20.6 pts) - would play Ottawa 1st round
  • riders1
    with 5. OG 18.0, 6. triway 16.0 , 7. Huron 13.70, and 8. Ontario 13.10
  • riders1
Joe Eitel's sight is updated , wow !!!!!
  • Flash
I love it. It comes down to who wants it the most. Put up shut up. Orrville needs to win to host a first round game. Its simple. Produce.
  • THE4RINGZ
So according to Eitel the top 8 are locked in now it is just a matter of the 3 and 4 ranking
  • OQB
Orrville's gotta come out ready to play from the time they go out to stretch! No if, and, or buts about it! Come out EXECUTE, play as a TEAM, and shut up the doubters! (me included) haha

Let's Go Riders, You gotta want that last home game....you don't want the last game in Red Rider Stadium in 2010 to be a 33-0 shutout.

Put it all together this week!

    Woo Who???
