coyotes22Good Game Warren
We killed ourselves with stupid mistakes. -
skankMissed tackles....Dropped passes....Penalties....Warren wanted it more and it showed. Massillons defense made contact with the warren ball carrier at the line of scrimmage almost every time, yet they would break tackles and gain large chunks of yardage.
Massillon is pretty much a lock for a playoff game....And thats it....A....playoff game. -

Coyotes usually when Big Red rubs off on an opponent it is a good thing. Was the atmosphere electric? How many of your orange people went to Warren? -
PaladinThe game was outstanding as Harding put it to Massillon 20-6. Handed them their butts. Game ended with Harding at Massillon's 2 yd. line where they took a knee, Afterwards, Massillon showed themselves as classless jerks by refusing to line-up and shake hands. Everyone, coaches, players & fans should be ashamed of that program.

You mean because Warren fans stormed the field and was up in the Massillon coaches face?
Thats what the paper said.
Does not surprise me though. Classy as Warren people are. -

PaladinYeah, show us the paper . I was there. No "fans" stormed the field as they were all BOOING from the stands for the poor display of sportsmanship by Massillon. Raiders were line-up for the handshake on the field and Massillon stayed on the sidelines . CLASSLESS JERKS !

Coyote isn't one to lie to make his team look better. If he says it was in the paper..it was in the paper. You can count on that one. -
OQBMan up, shake hands, and move on.

The MOST anti-Massillon paper in the state -
ThinthickbigredSounds like a heated rivalry . I was pretty bitter after the Massillon game . I see how they handle winning . They really enjoy it very very much but such is life in a big game . I know I enjoyed the heck out of the game at Harding stadium last year. Not shaking hands shows some underlying bitterness . I will remember the red neck who thought he would get up close to me at the Massillon game taking my buddies seat after he left for halftime. I knew wasnt coming back or Id of said something . It was just funny . Ive never seen such a home field advatage as the one I saw at Massillon . They pull out all the stops and the fans do the best they can to take part . They all mix in with the visiting fans . I have to give it to em . Its like a friggin Steeler game . It made me mad but I did appreciate it in a way . They do so much to try to intimidate the other team . It was a thing to behold. That was the first time I experienced a game against Massillon in PBTS . I was old enough and went to some AAC games at Harding stadium as a youngster. These rivalries are great !

First of all, Warren ended up with the ball at our 2 because we were on THEIR (about) 25, with a chance to score, when our QB got hit from the blind side and fumbled the ball, which was advanced inside our 5 with about 2 1/2 minutes remaining. As far as taking a knee, what coach wouldn't do that in that situation?
NOW....Here is what truely happened, I saw it with my own eyes, and got the word from people on the inside.
After the game, the Warren kids were all jumping around and celebrating, after all, they had just won a big game, for computer points....AND against a old rival, the Massillon kids started out to shake hands and the Warren kids continued to celebrate, Coach Hall sent the kids into the locker room to avoid a situation where emotions MAY get out of control. Now, when the Warren kids turn to do the hand shake, all they see is Massillon walking back to their locker room, NOW....the warren kids respond with taunts and I saw two of them flipping our team off. Upon seeing this, the few kids that had not yet made it back to the locker room tried to make their way to the field, but several Massillon coaches held them back. NOW....I don't have a problem with anything that went down, not even the flipping off situation, but....If sportsmanship is so important to you, why not celebrate AFTER you shake hands? And as far as the guy who got in Coach Halls face....consider yourself lucky young man.
NOW....I'm quite sure that what I just posted is going to be disputed, but that is exactly how it happened, Warren kids innocently celebrating, (this in no way was done in a taunting manner), Massillon coaches trying to avoid a situation, and things being taken the wrong way. -

It said it in several papers, and if you want to see it....Look it up yourself, you probably played at the parochial school you pimp so proudly, and are satisfied with someone else doing your work for you.
Furthermore, would you call someone, wether an oposing coach or a fan, who got in a coaches face classy? I'll await your answer as if I care. -

Coyote was unable to attend with me last night, and that is the only thing he got incorrect, there were no fans on the field....Unless the 'gentleman' who got in Coach Halls face was a fan, I assumed he was a coach, but I could be wrong. AND....Either you weren't really there, or you are a liar, but then again if you weren't there, you are lying about THAT, so either way, you are a liar, because....(read my post several up).
Yeah, the Raiders WERE lined up for hand shakes, but it was well after the final seconds ticked off the clock. If any of you are actually associated with the Warren program, (other than pilfering kids from that system), how long were you expecting us to wait for hand shakes? -

Someone from Orrville has an opinion, did you ask around about the antics Mo Tipton use to get away with while at the helm at Orrville? -

You've never seen a homefield advantage like the one at Massillon? I guess you weren't at Harding Stadium for the Massillon game last year then were you? Playing LOUD music isn't a problem, even during an opposing teams offensive huddle, but when the music hasn't stopped when the opposing team has reached the line of scrimmage, and STILL hasn't stopped when the opposing team is well into their cadence, THAT, my friend is a manufactured HFA. -

By the way, what did punctuation do to you, since you obviously will not have anything to do with it anymore? -

I don't know what you're talking about, because I clearly see a question mark in his post! -
skankPeriods and commas are first cousins to the question mark family.

We did have a nice home field advantage didnt we? packed in like sardines but a very nice home advantage. -
PaladinI read both the Massillon & Canton papers. Neither said ANYTHING about "Fans" rushing the field. One mention of 'A FAN" verbal altercation with the coach and since I sat on the Massillon side as a neutral spectator there to watch a good game , my take is that your classless coach didn't permit the team to shake hands. Warren was indeed lined-up to shake hands and in a line as they should. I've heard many stories over the years about the classless town of the Massillon tiggers , their fans, coaches & team , but until this week-end , had never seen nor experienced it. I imagine the "Fan" who yelled at the Massillon coach was also part of the crowd reaction to BOO the unsportmanship display they saw as after the fact. All in all, I sense now that most of the stories I have heard are true about this group of outlaws and thugs. I'll never doubt another story about the poor sports from tiggertown now that I saw it firsthand.

GoChiefsNot a Massillon fan at all, but you lose any credibility with anything you say when you say Coach Hall is classless. He's far from that.

Here is my post from hours earlier, where I CONFIRMED there were no fans on the field, except possibly everyones hero that got in coach Halls face. I appears though that you want to hover around Coyotes comment about the fan, to try to make him look like a liar, when clearly, you are the BIGGEST liar on this thread. Massillon and Warren have a history, a long and sometimes violent history. I believe Warren is Massillons longest rival except for McKinley with, I believe 75 games played between the two. Coach Halls decision to have the players head to the locker room was a good decision, it may have prevented something more severe than a handful of haters and, let's be honest here, idiots, slamming on HS kids behind the safety of their computer screen. You are intentionally lying about Warren "being in line" to shake hands, as they were NOT. I believe they intended to be but they were NOT. I don't believe Warren had any ill intentions, they were just excited, (as they deserved to be). When they settled down, and realized, it was time to shake, Coach Hall had already made his decision.
I believe that is another of your problems, you "HEARD stories", "Hearing" stories is like guessing on your final exams, getting lucky, and strutting around like you're a rocket scientist. If you base your opinions on "stories" and one incident, that you are blowing out of proportion anyway, you are dumber than your posts lead me to believe you are.
