Number seven is Junior Rb Shawndale Ray. He did indeed look good running the ball. Maybe he does touch the ball a few more times next week.
But you want to know what is scarier.......the guy who picked up the first down on the fake punt....may be the best athlete they have that nobody even realizes yet.
As far as the game goes that was a big win. Range is going to win alot of games this year. Their QB is very impressive as was number 22. Those two were very accurate in their throws and how they ran their routes in the passing game.
We have got to figure out how to hang on to the balls that are hitting us in perfect stride for big scores. Claxton did drop a huge 60 yard bomb wide open, but what an amazing catch he had in the back of the endzone later on. That was beautiful. Bledsoe once again proved his value but Richard the ball is not a loaf of bread!!!!!!!!!!!! Lester had a very good game. Jales was held in check and really worked his butt off tonight to get his yards. Skevo is going to be fine. Nonetheless, I would not play him next week even if Doctor clears him. Make sure that knee is ready to go. Special teams played alot better. I mean alot better.
We still have some things to shore up but this team stays in the fight. Big game again next week against a Liberty team coming off a big victory tonight. I thought we had a decent crowd tonight, but alot of open seats former players and alum. Support the kids just like you wanted the support when you were their age fellas.
