MVPIt like a track meet watching glenville. So much speed can massillon shut down the speed . If massillon thinks the bulldogs had aot of speed. Man they have not seen speed yet. Should be a great game is massillon luck going to run out this week. I think it could easy happen. But once again any thing can happen . MVP

Who cares about our "luck", these kids have busted their asses since November of last year, so if by "luck" you mean "hard work" and "dedication", then maybe.MVP wrote: It like a track meet watching glenville. ridgerunner88I was surprised to see how much pressure Glenville put on the Iggy O line. They manhandle Iggy, very impressive. I didn't see the Solon game but I expected an easier win after seeing how they handled Iggy. I've heard they tend not to show up for some games. Still my pick though.

I can guarantee Glenville doesn't have anyone faster than Brice Willder and Massillon did fine stopping his speed.MVP wrote: It like a track meet watching glenville. cats86glenville will be the fastest team the tigers have seen all year.they have a team full of speed not just one or two players.if massillon can run the ball and control the clock and limit glenvilles big plays they will be fine.i still think glenville wins.but thats why they play the game on the field.should be a very good game .

skankOn the other hand, Massillon will be one of the few teams Glenville has played that will play totally disciplined football, with every kid doing his job and every kid doing his job well. Not to mention some pretty good athletes themselves.
I mean Glenville is good, but
Cleve. Collinwood
East Tech
Cleve. John Adams
Cleve. J.F.K.
Cleve. John Marshall
Lincoln West
Cleve. Rhodes
Cleve. South ? -
ridgerunner88I have either underestimated the Tigers or all 19 people voting for them are from Massillon.
-
skankRidge, not being critical, and maybe you mentioned it before, but, have you seen the Tigers play this year?

Exactly!
Glenville may be able to pull this one off but seriously besides Iggy ,who have they beaten? -

Go ahead, I can handle it.skank wrote: Ridge, not being critical, and maybe you mentioned it before, but, have you seen the Tigers play this year?
Here let me use one of these to indicate a tongue in cheek type of a comment.
I watched the Tigers beat McKinley on TV. They looked really good in shutting Canton down for most of the game. I bet the QB won't be sticking the ball out like that again trying to reach the goal line, they almost blew an otherwise stellar perforance.
I also watched Glenville dominate Iggy. I think Glenville has more size, speed, and talent, less disciplined. I'd like to see the Tigers win just don't see it happening unless Glenville doesn't show up. I hope I'm wrong. -
skankJust wondering, I know alot of people make comments that so and so will beat so and so badly or this team or that team doesn't stand a chance against this team or that team, and alot of times they have not seen one or both teams play.
Just knowing this Tiger team so well, most of these kids since they were in Kindergarden, I know the type of kids they are, and when they are up against it, I truely believe that they will find a way.
Go Tigers. -
coyotes22I think Massillon needs to come out and just run the clock from the very beginning.
I like the little out routes that we ran with Olack against McK. Those and the trap plays with Reiman seem to be our bread and butter.
I think if our WR keep their hands on the balls and make catches, and if Partridge can keep his head on straight, we win.
I am not worried about our "D". They are playing solid right now. -
Big Al CarterI do not think that Massillon will have to worry about the "supposed" speed that Glenville has. As zwick said, Massillon has seen it's fair share of speed this year. Not just Wilder (McK), but, Parker (Buchtel), Grice (Firestone). I think that the defense is also playing solid at a time when they really need to be. I still think Glenville may be to much this year.

I have seen Massillon play. A few times. So much I could do with this statement. But, for sake of the mod's heart condition (he does not have one, thus it is a condition), I will refrain.skank wrote: Just wondering, I know alot of people make comments that so and so will beat so and so badly or this team or that team doesn't stand a chance against this team or that team, and alot of times they have not seen one or both teams play.

skankWhat could you do with "that" statement?

Could care less. -
Big Al CarterHow did you find time to travel to all those schools to see the kids when they were in kindergarten? Something like that. But, I will not go there. Not tonight. I dont want to ruin your weekend, or disappoint you, making you think back to all those schools.
