Who Looks Tough in the OCC?

  • Tiernan
And I'm talking about the "real" OCC (Ohio Capitol Conference) in Central Ohio...not that little OCC in Bumfuk, NE Ohio.

Hilliard Davidson and Dublin Coffman have to be considered front runners, with Pick Central and Big Walnut looking to make noise again in 2010. Some folks are saying New Albany and Upper Snoberington will both make huge improvements, record wise. Let's hear it OCC fans.

Spell it out if you dont want any confusion....I know it takes like 5 extra seconds.....
  • CCRolly
Wow...how arrogant. You arrogant punks should come up to BFE and get some.
  • THE4RINGZ
Orrville or Ashland should dominate this season

    How's that?

That is completely leaving out the Clear Fork Colts.

I'm thinking that the top three in this order should be Ashland, Orville, and Clear Fork. Lexington lost a lot I want to see how bad it will be for them:D
  • CCRolly
Wooster is gunning for another 5-5 or 6-4 season. Some parents in the community will be ready to throw a parade for that. How sickening it is for Wooster to start accepting mediocrity as a "great" season.
  • THE4RINGZ
Yeah I did forget about Clear Fork and I apologize for that. Didn't they graduate a lot of talent?

CC all Wooster sports fans have become apathetic and I am not sure why. Whatever the reasons are it is a sad commentary on our home town

Clear Fork, Ashland, and Orrville. Those are my picks for the top 3, in that order.

    Oops, wrong thread! ;-)
  • rmolin73
thePITman keep it going this thread has been hijacked! Question for you guys other than the QB from Ashland who are some of the stand out players for the OCC?
  • THE4RINGZ
Every player from Orrville. Just ask their fans on here
  • Mr. 300
    Not West Holmes.....this year.
  • rmolin73
Hahaha that will be soon to come.

It will be interesting to see how the new coach at WH will do this year. It's always tough for a new coach to start the season 0-1, so we will see how he can rebound in Week 2.

Woh woh woh! Don't mark that game down as a win for us, just yet. Until the whistle blows at the end of the 4th quarter, I won't be assuming anything. I'm sure all our kids are going to think about was last year's season opener. Ouch!
  • THE4RINGZ
I remember last year's game at WH. Ugh.

Look for it to be be a tough year for WH. Probably don't have the athletes on the offensive line and at RB to be successful running Maltraitch's system this year. Be interesting to see how things develop over the course of the season.
  • CCRolly
Don't the Colts have their best running back coming back?
  • thePITman
McCune will be a Senior this coming football season.

    I resemble that remark.

Returning impact players: Tre Simpson, Mason Monheim, Max Pirman, Drew Brenner off the top of my head....I'm sure others will step up.

Dont yet know who the QB will be. Infield maybe?

You dont replace the talent from our senior class and not miss a beat, but I think we can compete in the OCC and be a playoff team...need a strong start though...can't start 0-2 like last year.
  • thePITman
Everyone at the end of this year was saying Gage Wyant would be the QB. But if the size of his head doesn't go down, he'll be put in his place real quick... if him supposedly being the QB was ever the idea in the first place. I just couldn't wrap my head around it and believe it 100%. Simpson, Monheim, and Pirman will be good. Brenner? Who knows. I don't think he's anything like his brother, so don't let his name fool you. But I could be wrong. We'll see.
  • Tiernan
My gawd how can you mullet - wearing - chaw - chompers get this worked up over Div III & IV football teams? The real OCC 's JV teams would dominate this sorry collection of grid iron wanna be's but never were's.
  • thePITman
    Your signature says it all.
  • Tiernan
Exactly...get on board on get left behind.
