Who Looks Tough in the OCC?

That sign is in more than 1 place.RedRider1;391324 wrote:Speech & Debate State Champs sign is proudly posted at the city limits (Cleveland Rd, just south of Milltown)....gotta hang your hat on something.
THE4RINGZ;391365 wrote:There is also that 2002 Div. 1 lacrosse state championship sign.
Hilliard Davidson has lacrosse. Oh snap! -
THE4RINGZBut no sign
-
CCRollyDon't forget our '86 Final Four team picture that resides in every program I think. At least it did at one point....
-
TiernanAsk anybody else in the state outside of the Ashland - Wooster - Orrville Tri-Twat Area, where the true OCC is located and they will answer..."C-bus - Home of the OHSAA Football Championships After 2012!!!
-
rmolin73That sounds like people from the SEC riding the nuts of the teams that actually win.
-
THE4RINGZTriway isn't in the Ohio Cardinal Conference. They play in the Principal's Athletic Conference. Just thought you should know.
-
CCRollyYou have to be a real dipshit to post on topics you know nothing about. Also, I drove by one of the signs last night....and need to make a correction. Wooster is the 3-TIME State Champion in Speech/Debate. All in the last 9 years...that's pushing "Dynasty" talk now!
-
THE4RINGZHow does one win at speech and debate? I went to a small country school we didn't have nothing like that.
-
CthelitesIt should come down to the Big 3 Davidson, Coffman and UA in the OCC Central.
Davidson took a big hit though with the death of rb standout Rico Butler. -
soccer_dadRico is/will surely be missed,on and off the field. There will be a couple who will just have to step it up this year. They have have the capability, but yes Rico will be missed.
-
CCRollyGreat article on coaching legend Mo Tipton in today's Daily Record.
-
THE4RINGZThe Rico story sure is a sad one. I hope the coach can use football to help the kids on the team and in the school system overcome some of their grief.
I also enjoyed the article about Month in the paper today too. -
THE4RINGZMo not Month. Spelling correction took over and I didn't notice.
-
CCRollyMo & Mac had some of the best Orrville/Wooster matchup's during their tenure. What a couple of class guys.
-
THE4RINGZI wish the Wooster kids still got it when it comes to this rivalry. It just seems like another game to them. You cannot be apathetic when you play the Riders.
-
CCRollyThe lack of community spirit towards the game is unforgivable. There is a small select group in the Wooster community that truly still care. That includes some of the kids. We've seen too many Wooster teams decide to mail it in the last few weeks of their sports seasons lately.
-
THE4RINGZI grew up outside of Wooster and went to a county school, but I can remember the Wooster v. Orrville week being such a big deal. Now that I live in Wooster and my step kids go to WHS Orrville week to everyone is just another game. It is sad. I wish I knew what happened to diminish the rivalry in the eye's of most of Wooster's faithful.

Hilliard Davidson and Dublin Coffman have to be considered front runners, with Pick Central and Big Walnut looking to make noise again in 2010. Some folks are saying New Albany and Upper Snoberington will both make huge improvements, record wise. Let's hear it OCC fans.
Pick Central has to be considered the front runner in the OCC Ohio. There are a lot of experienced players and starters coming back from last year's 10-2 team. I've heard that Lancaster has a lot coming back too. -

I think your in the wrong thread... -

No,you're in the wrong thread---the first post clearly states the "Real" OCC----- -
CCRollySorry bud, on Ohio Chatter, the "real" OCC is the Ohio Cardinal Conference. We have more than 2-3 people that talk about our conference. Better luck next time.
-
TiernanThe "real" OCC has the defending state champs in D-1. Case closed, you have been served Rolly Polly.
-
rmolin73Once again the nut hugging continues. Dude you didn't go to Hilliard Davidson so stop trying to steal their success.
-
thePITmanLoL! Gotta love the superiority complex.
-
THE4RINGZIt is kind of funny to watch this all go down. Dude starts a thread it gets taken over by real football fans and now it has become a "my dad can beat up your dad" kind of argument
