Hope Delonte plays and Boobie gets some more time. I mean all the guy does is shoot and make them. Sure would be nice to see him get some minutes. I know it is tough with this roster but geeze.....

    Is Z back on Monday?
  • Lovejoy1984
Z should be back on Monday.

Hopefully he comes off the bench for his first game, that way he can get the ovation he deserves when he checks in.

He should be booed since he was a part of that deal that brought us that worthless son of a bitch....Jamigoat.:D

A win clinches the central division title. I wonder if they already have the banner up there and will unveil it after the game if they win.....or if they will wait until it's clinched for sure and then put it up there and unveil it at the beginning of the next home game after we clinch. I forget exactly how they did that last year, but I do remember for sure that the banner was up before the regular season ended

Jamigoat didn't have his Jamigoat game on last night, not so hot under the rim, missed a lot of tip ins/layups. Not a worry though.

Poony has plenty of flaws in his game. I don't mind the man getting 20 minutes a game...but that's about it. And please coach Brown, do not have this guy on the court in crunch time...ever.

This is the furthest thing from anyone's mind. They could have hoisted that thing before the season started. Only one banner means anything at this point.

I would much rather he start the game and get a 5 minute standing 0. LeBron should let him throw the chalk dust in the air too.

Z could have signed for more money with a different contender, but he bleeds for the championship starved Cleveland fans.

I'm taking the Cavs minus 14.5 points tonight in a high scoring blowout. I look for Cleveland to hang 70 points on them in the first half. The Pacers play defense like the Knicks do. And Grainger will not play.

Last night won with the Cavs minus 10.5 points. The luckiest bet I ever won. To the idiot Pistons that fouled LBJ and Mo during "kneel down time", footwedge thanks you very much. :d

People point out legitimate flaws in LeBron's game all the time. You know what I tell them? Look at the stat sheet and GTFO.

I'm not saying I don't agree with your 20 minutes a game deal (I'd like to see us go through him in the 1st half for points, which is what we've been doing) but you always talk about him like he sucks. I know you post stats and you try to talk about how factual you are but your bias shows through in a big way. You just don't like the guy, we get it. But it's just immature for lack fo a better term to not give him his due just because you have some issue with him. He's a good ball player. You don't put up the numbers he has in his career with many flaws.

But his RPM are bad, and his Jumpball rate is lacking. Come on Square, get it together. You know as well as I do, that Jamison is horrible, he's somehow scammed everyone in the country to believing his stats are legit. He's some how stolen points and boards from his teammates all this years. He's a fraud.

I do have a problem with a guy that misses way too many wide open jump shots. Other teams have read the book on him, and they let him shoot out there. The same thing with Rondo....nobody covers him from outside 15 feet.

My opinion is that he also is a liability on the defensive end. That is my opinion from what I've seen.

And it seems that the 4th quarter brings out the lesser of him. Blowing uncontested layins from him seem to happen too frequently in crunch time. There is also the "hack a PoonTawn" that will surely come into play, unless he starts shooting them the way he has in the past.

I admit, he's not nearly as bad as I have portayed him out to be. But the series of threads that turned bloody was my over reaction to those that honestly believe that the addition of this guy would send us over the top. I disagree with that assessment...and my take is that even though he's a decent player, he does not improve the Cavs power ratings, or the overall team strength.

He does not fit the definition of a true stretch 4...because he is very average/mediocre when it comes to shooting the ball beyond 15 feet..especially given the fact that the other team doesn't guard him out there and dares him to shoot..

Anyone that wants to compare the flaws in LBJ's game and the flaws in Poontawn's game have some serious basketball knowledge issues.

As for PoonTawn's stats being "fruadulent", um no...they are what we thought they were. His stats are very benign.

This is the only part of your post that even needs to be read.

And who is talking about comparing flaws between LBJ and Jamison? I'm not. I'm just saying, people point out legit flaws in his game. Like shot selections--all I have to say is look at the stats, compare them to not just the current players but the GREATS and shut up.

Jamison is the same way, to a lesser extent of course. But bitch and moan all you want--so he misses a few layups, I saw LeBron miss one last night too. WTF is up with that? All I know is that when I look at the Jamison's stat sheet, I'm thrilled with the numbers he is putting up.

His stats are way above average, which is why I can't understand why you continuously talk about him as if he should be a 12th man.

Not to mention the fact that whether or not you're happy with us making the move for him, you might as well stop calling him Poontwan like a douche bag and support him. He plays for the Cavs now, let's support him.

And this is all anyone is saying about Poontawn. He's an upgrade.

It's a "seeing the forest for the trees" situation. He puts up solid numbers regularly. I can't find fault for a guy who is consistent.

With an unexpected return, Psycho T will come out in the 2nd half and drop a double nickel on those bums from Cleveland :)
