Pacers @ Cavs 7:00pm

LBJ can be so brilliant but he sure can lose focus in the 2nd qtr.

Why does everyone shoot lights out against us?

Because the Cavs don't care for 3 quarters against teams like Indy...

You'll notice a difference in the 4th, as usual, when the Cavs lock down the scrubs.

You can see a big difference in focus of the Cavs when they play a team like Indy compared to a team like Boston or LA..

    LBJ goin' crazy now!

    Cavs by 17

I am at work watching gamecast. It was halftime so I turned it off. I turn it back on and they're up 17?!?!? Someone fill me in!!

Cavs D has tightened up & LBJ has 14pts in the 3rd quarter.
  • se-alum
Also, Cavs have 0 TO's in the 3rd quarter, which was the only thing that kept Indy in the game in the 1st half.
  • hoops23
Cavs must have thought the game ended in the 3rd.

Lead down to 1 and Indy has the ball.
  • hoops23
And just like that the Cavs are back up by 6 with ball..

    Intensity really picked up.

I still don't understand Mike Brown's rotation, and probably never will. Moon is yet to play in the game.

    LeBron is ridiculous.

    Ball game...

    I think LeBron was like 32 9 9
  • sleeper
32-9-9 and I don't know but Lebron wasn't even trying to the whole game. He was really into just blocking shots, and on the offensive side was just trying a bunch of crazy shots that seemingly just went in.

    Unbelievable.

I just do not think anybody beats the cavs this year. Didn't have that feeling last year or any other year since LBJ came to town.
No one can compete with us in a 5 or 7 game series. JMO

Just got back from the game. As a Pacers' fan it was nice that it ended up being close. Got kinda worried there in the 3rd, but then the Cavs went cold in the 4th.

LeBron was dancing half the time to the music being played during the game.

I watched it on TV for 2 quarters and recall him dancing to Single Ladies and The Cupid Shuffel.

Does anyone ever go to Cavs.com and read the quotes from the post game on a regular basis?

I have never heard other players talk about a guy the way they do LeBron. They just come right out and say that there is nothing you can do to beat them, he has to beat himself--you don't hear guys just admit that about many professional athletes...ever...

I mean, it just amazes me that I expected him to be this good, yet I'm still blown away by how good he is. It's unreal, and we haven't even seen the best of LeBron James. At 25 years of age, I don't think there has ever been a player as good all around as LeBron. People said this a few years ago, and the opposition had a legit argument then--but the way his game has improved, I'm sold on that statement.

LeBron has always been the best on the court throughout his career. In the NBA though, you need other guys to help you, no matter how good you are.

    LeBron finally has that.

He also has an extra gear that only a handful of players can match. Seriously, LeBron, when he wants to, can dominate a game in EVERY phase. It's ridiculous.

After watching "More Than a Game" several weeks ago, I've come to appreciate the man even more.
  • Glory Days
it was kinda funny though at one point when the crowd started chanting "MVP" during one of his free throws...then he missed it.
  • just_a_swimmer
Nothing is funny about the way the whole team is shooting foul shots. I hope it improves soon. Pretty bad when AV steps to the line and you are more comfortable with him shooting a free throw then Jamison or James. Even Mo and Delonte are throwing up bricks at the foul line.

You should go back and look at the last 10 champions.. It'll make you feel better about FT's.

However, while the Cavs struggle shooting FT's, it largely comes in the 1st half..

In the 2nd half, they up their percentage to 76% which is very good as a team.

    Ditto.

I followed that team so closely in high school, gave me chills watching that. The gym at Salem High School is in the movie too. :)

Your team doesn't have to make 75% of it's FT's to win a title--the bigger stat is offensive rebounds, they do that so well that it more than makes up for missed FT's. Not a big deal if you make an effort to find extra possessions.

We had a common opponent in Willard. We both beat them.

I also followed ASVSM during LeBrons tenure. Even took in a few of their games, including the one against Radford... or Redford? Whatever.

Yeah, I saw them play 10-15 times in high school.

I was at the JAR for the between the legs dunk. I think they were playing Cleveland VASJ.
