    I'd still rather have JJ unless you have a contract agreed to by Amar'e at the time of the trade (I think the Cavs can contact him about this if the Suns grant permission, which they should).

    The only way this would be a good deal on Cleveland's end is if they can lock him into a long term deal.

    The Knicks are trying to unload Jared Jeffries so they can make a serious push towards LeBron and another big FA this summer.

    As it stands now, they will only be able to go after 1, so that is why they are trying hard to move Jeffries.

    In other words, your front court is the last of your concerns.

    The Suns are waiting for the Heat because Miami can give them more draft picks than the Cavs are willing to.

    Danny Green is replaceable.
    If JJ Hickson reaches his potential he probably doesn't equal Amar'e for the next 4-5 years.
    our 1st round draft pick this year was Kid Congo, who cares if we give up the 30th for the 2010 draft?

    Plus, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Cavs make a smaller move to bring in another 2 guard.

    The draft pick doesn't matter--send it away, if we have Amare/LeBron/Mo as a core and then the rest of the roster, there isn't going to be much money to sign a draft pick anyways.

    Doubt it, the Suns won't deal with the Lakers. You rarely see trades happen inside a division in the NBA.

    Very true. Just saying you could see him in their when we go to a small lineup, or he could play the 4, shifting Amar'e to the 5 occasionally.

    I was just fooling around with that trade, but when teams are struggling financially and are looking to dump salary....I don't think it matters if it is a rival or not. They are going to take the best deal, no matter who offers it.

    The Suns want to get rid of Jason Richardson as well. I'm not sure that the Cavs want him but that would help us at the SG position

    Actually, there has been some conflicting reports on that. Some of the Suns insiders are claiming that they do not want rid of Richardson...so who knows.

    I think there is just a lot of posturing with the media and no one really has any idea what is going on.

    Who else is out there that the Cavs could add at SG? I have heard Rip's name mentioned but other then that I have no idea who we would be looking at. I know there were Iggy rumors out there but they appear to be dead.

    He won't have a choice if they make the deal, so that doesn't really matter. But I still don't really believe him. I'd believe Amare himself before anyone that works for ESPN. And so far Amare has said that he plays well with Shaq and that his dream lineup would include Shaq and LeBron. Plus they're the best team in the NBA. I don't buy it.

    W&G just made his 1st post in a couple days, including Amar'e wanting to come to Cleveland and would likely take his option for next season with Cleveland.
