New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavs - Feb. 6, 7:30
-
Tigerfan00New York is fresh off their loss to the Bucks last night and have lost 10 of their last 14. The Cavs are winners of 10 straight and I think they should put away the Knicks even though David Lee is the man.
Cavs by 15+ -
FootwedgeCavs have made the rest of the NBA look like Ivy Leaguers over the past 2 months. One of these days a team might actually give them a game.
I see a let down here by the Cavs...poor shooting maybe...Final Cavs 98..Knicks 89.
And some of the Cav fans here will be bitchin and a moaning demanding a few trades before the deadline....or maybe calling for Mike Brown's scalp. -
mallymal614This is a potential land-mine game. Cleveland is hot, while New York is struggling. These types of games can always be dangerous. I still think Cavs prevail in this one. Lebron loves putting on a show against the Knicks.

golf4life2008This game is at home, Cavs will not lose this game!

devil1197Foot, jesus christ shut the hell up with the best team shit.
Seriously, this is the easiest part of the Cavaliers schedule did you really think Cleveland would struggle with all these home games? We were in the same place last year only to get it handed to us in the playoffs by the Magic.
Its funny how you call us out but Ferry is the one going after Jamison hard. When he says he isn't looking for something he really is. The guy is very good at blowing smoke, its how he does business.
LMAO, this team is great but come on its not hard to understand that this team can get better at a little cost. -
jpake1^I agree. You would have thought people would have learned from last year. Not a personal attack on anybody, but the old huddle had a VERY cocky vibe about last year because you were REGULAR season champs. Which is surprising because I hear people talk about about the post season being a different monster. I'm starting to get the vibe again, people are getting a bit cocky with this team. But it's cool, it doesn't hurt anybody. Have at it.

Exactly, there is no reason to be gloating at the moment with the Cavaliers. I learned my lesson last year and it seems some have not. The playoffs are a different animal in which I am unsure if guys like Hickson will perform well in. We saw the breakdown of Williams in big series and its not out of the question to expect the same from other guys. Do I want to keep Hickson, yes but I'd also like a veteran to take some of his minutes come playoff time.jpake1 wrote: ^I agree. You would have thought people would have learned from last year. There is always room for improvements on teams and Ferry knows it otherwise he wouldn't be working the phones. -
gport_tennishaving the best record this year i think is a little bit different because we are beating elite teams as well. Off the top of my head I dont know what the exact record is but i think we are like 5-1 or 5-2 against orlando, boston, and LA. Last year I think it was like 2-6. That is why this year I think we are in better shape then last year.
-
mallymal614Let the Cleveland fans have their fun. With all the bad luck they had the last 40 years, they need some kind of hope for a championship

It still means nothing in Dec/Jan etc.gport_tennis wrote: having the best record this year i think is a little bit different because we are beating elite teams as well. wes_mantoothThis game will be totally different next year when Lebron is a Knick and NY is a championship team

hoops23This year and last year are like comparing apples to oranges.
Last year, while our record was great, we couldn't beat the top teams in the league. this year, we have been.
Last year we had glaring weaknesses in terms of front court depth and tall wing defenders. This year, we have neither of those problems.
Last year, people wanted us to make a trade for Shaq, because of those problems. They would have been happy with that.
We make the trade for Shaq AND sign those bigger wing defenders, yet people still feel there is a weakness?
This team, right now, has NO weakness. We have one of the best front courts. We have GREAT depth.
If a trade is made, so be it, if not, I won't be mad at all.
I'm hesitant to trade a player like JJ especially. He's got a lot of potential and he's 21 years old. I'd like to actually build a nice core of players here instead of trading away people. The salary cap isn't something you can beat for long. Sooner or later, it'll catch up to you.
Another thing is, chemistry. We have the best team in the league right now, and we also have the best team chemistry. When every guy on that floor trusts eachother, great things can happen.
Also, getting another guy in here could be problematic. LeBron, Shaq, and Mo get the majority of the touches. You don't know how a guy, who on a bad team and getting a bunch of touches, would fit in coming in and being the 4th option on most nights. (see Ron Artest) -

hoops23It'll be interesting to see if the Cavs get caught looking ahead to the Magic.
I don't think so, but NY is a team that can score. I'm thinking 104-93 Cleveland. -
wildcats20Won't be seeing this one and let me tell you Fab4 is PISSED!! lol
Apparently Insight/FSN is deciding to show Jackets/Sabres on all 3 of my channels. -

mallymal61423 1st QUARTER points for Lebron. Yikes! Can he match Kobe's 81 from a few years ago?

Doubtful.mallymal614 wrote: 23 1st QUARTER points for Lebron. Yikes! Can he match Kobe's 81 from a few years ago?
He doesn't shoot enough throughout an entire game to get that. Not to mention, he may be on the bench for the entire 4th quarter. -
miller45452003Unbelievable 1st from James. He was launching them 3's up from 7-8 ft behind the line. Also has 5 assists to go with them 23.
-
miller45452003^^^He may refuse to go to the bench. He's out to make a point tonite!!
-
Lovejoy1984Lebron's got like 31 already. Would love to see him keep going, but this game isn't going to be close, and Lebron will start getting others involved.
