Who do you want the Browns to pick?

  It's possible both St. Louis and Washington would take QBs. If that happens, Berry may slip to 7. Plus there's always the possibility of trades happening, with teams moving down or up.

  The IDEAL scenario for Cleveland would be that a team behind them falls madly in love with someone available at 7, but who might otherwise go a pick or two later if left alone; and a team with several extra early round picks wants to do a deal.
  
  I'd love for the Browns to be able to pick up an extra couple first day picks, even if it costs them a top 15 selection in the first round.
  
  This is a deep draft and help can be found all over the place. Even two extra first day selections could provide much needed players for the Browns at several different positions.
  
  That is unlikely to happen, though, so I'll be very happy if Berry falls or they end up with McClain or Haden.

  At the same time, with Trent Williams, Anthony Davis, and Bryan Bulaga, teams may just want to wait.
  
  It's way too hard to really tell where certain players will fall into place, but you're right that there could easily be somebody that wants to trade up.
  
  Personally, if Berry, McClain, Haden, and/or Morgan is there at 7 (which is almost a guarantee for one of them), I don't think we should pass on talent like that, despite it being a deep class. But if we were to get a mid 1st, and early 2nd or so, to trade down, I'd take it because of how talented this class is.

  Morgan is an intriguing prospect, but it would SUCK if we took him and he just didn't fit into the 3-4 at all, like Gholston is running into with the Jets. I, like you, want McClain more than anyone really, unless Suh of course fell, which won't be happening. The thing that intrigues me about trading down is that, unless we traded down past San Fran at 13, none of the teams between our 7 pick and pick 13 really need corner or safety. Oakland doesn't need either, Buffalo is set in the secondary, Jacksonville I suppose could take a safety if Berry fell that far, but its not a major need, Miami and Denver though are both looking McClain/Dan Williams up and down. I think if we traded down 5-7 spots, we would still possibly be able to get one of the guys we were high on, likely Haden, but at a huge discount, while gaining extra picks and or players, and Earl Thomas is another one of those guys that is ranked right there among the top 12-15 prospects, so taking him would not be out of the question.

  Well, even if we miss out on Haden, McClain, and Berry, we'll still get a very talented player.
  
  You gotta think that Spiller is going to slide into the top 10, and knock somebody down, as well as Dez Bryant. Sam Bradford could slide into the top 10. I think Clausen goes #1 if not Bradford. So then, we're looking at Carlos Dunlap, Terrence Cody (if we get pick 15 or so), Jerry Hughes, Jason Pierre-Paul, etc.
  
  We could even go RT. I mean, St. Louis spent a 2nd overall pick on their RT last year in Jason Smith, and the Bengals used a top 10 pick on Andre Smith. We could go with Bulaga (I think he'd do well on the right side, or Trent Williams).
  
  I think we're in a great position. I really just don't want any of the QB's in this draft, and hope that we don't use a first round pick on one.

  Jason Smith from Baylor went #2 to the Rams. Andre Smith slipped and went to the Bengals.

  Don't put it past this front office to make additional moves.
  D'Qwell Jackson is a possible trade scenario depending on who is willing to give up what, and if we are in position to get McClain. Maiava and Bowens would be fine playing next to McClain, and we would still have time to develop Veikune, as the original plan was with him.
  Shaun Rogers would be a solid addition to several teams, and its no secret that our rush defense actually improved when Rubin was at NT over Rogers. Depending on his injury status, he may or may not be a Brown next year.
  Josh Cribbs we all know the story. Who knows what will come of that.
  
  This is a DEEP draft, there will be a ton of talent in rounds 3-4, I wouldn't be surprised, if a guy is there that we really like, if we used some of our later round picks to maneuver back up to select our guy.

  In the middle rounds, I would like to see them address the right side of the line. Since OL aren't drafted as much as other players, We could get a very solid pickup with one of those middle picks to help the line...

  I agree pkebker. There should be a lot of talent in rounds 4-5 to address offensive line if we do in fact wait that long.
  Chris Scott-Tennessee. He has played every line position other than center in his career. One of the key reasons Montario Hardesty was able to have the success he did this year.
  Adam Ulatoski-Texas. Projected right tackle, but can play guard as well.
  Kyle Calloway-Iowa. Future starting right tackle in the NFL.

  Not that I think he'll be a superstar or anything close, but I think Jimmy Cordle will find a team in the NFL, he's played every position on the OL except for LG. He'd provide solid depth for any team.

  I was going to mention him. You're right on with my stance on Cordle, I think he could have a nice roster spot for depth, because he is so versatile.

  Yeah, he could be like Doug Free, fill in when a starter goes down. Though after free got to play some, he looked pretty damn good.

  I voted Berry because that is how the poll was done. However I do not think he will be there so McClain would be my next selection and if he is gone Joe Haden.
